“We never heard from the host. We became concerned as our check-in time approached and we had no information about how to get into the property, so we contacted VRBO. They also tried to contact the host with no luck. Not sure why this listing is active if the owner/host isn't monitoring it. We ended up having to stay at a hotel instead. ”

Falsified reason for cancellation, stating I (solo traveler, well into middle age) did not meet age requirements. VRBO refunded me. It was an unpleasant ordeal and a waste of lots of time on phone and chat. ”
