「We unfortunately could not stay in the hotel due to change of plan at last minute, but the hotel staff got in touch with us to make sure we would be only charged for a single night which was much appreciated. 」

「This is a lovely guest house inside the Pingyao ancient city walls. It is convenient walking distance to major streets with attractions and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful. Room and garden were very nice. Staff were wonderful. I was offered western breakfast which was fine, but wish I had known I could pick a local version.」

「The hotel is in an unbeatable location. The room was very nice, although the air conditioning unit’s mounting bracket could use some fixing. The bathroom was fine.
The highlights were the wonderful woman who runs the place and the hotel’s charming, traditional style, which has been very well maintained. The street it’s on is fantastic, and this town was my favourite of the 15 places I visited during my trip to China.」
