The house is really big, nice and clean, very comfortable and quiet. The pool is huge and heated. We enjoyed the sunshine the whole day in the garden. There is everything you need to make a wonderful holiday: bicycle, barbecue, whirpool, sauna, table tennis, The children were happy in the separated room with table football and billiard. The location is very good to cycle, to visit small villiges, to buy champagne or wine. The owner is helpful and always ready to answer the questions. We can absolutely recommend the accomodation.

Une grande maison, une très belle piscine chauffée, dans un minuscule village peuplé de gens charmants et où s' arrête un boulanger sympa qui a régalé toute la famille avec ses produits de qualité. Et les propriétaires sont tout aussi charmants.

De aankomst verliep soepel en we kregen een goede uitleg. DE eigenaar had van te voren al contact met ons opgenomen. Het huis was fantastisch, flink gerenoveerd, maar met behoud van de Franse charme. Echt een omgeving om helemaal tot rust te komen en het met de familie gezellig te hebben. We hebben nog het nodige aan wild kunnen zien (herten, vossen).

Een hartelijk welkom door de eigenaars - super rustig gelegen en een heel aangenaam huis - koel en super net. Op tien meter een kabbelend riviertje wat voor goede afkoeling zorgt. Een zalig zwembad, jacuzzi, biljart, tafeltennis - kortom alles om een geslaagde vakantie te hebben. Daarnaast in een prachtige omgeving - 's avonds kan je op 500 m hertjes en vosjes zien - ook bevers gezien. Kortom een geslaagde vakantie en meer dan de moeite waard om te boeken. We hopen dat we terug kunnen komen. Proficiat voor de eigenaars.

Not quite there yet

We were informed that we could not arrive before 4pm on Saturday as the property would be cleaned and prepared before this time. On arrival it was obvious that this was not the case. The entrance gate had rubbish bins overflowing with trash in 40 degrees heat. The front garden was overgrown with weeds. The back garden was full of stinging nettles and the lawn overgrown. On Sunday morning the owner arrived and mowed the lawn and cut the nettles back at 9am. The hot tub had flooded the room before our arrival and this had to be emptied. Once re- filled and heated it would have cooked anyone entering it, so for safety reasons none of our party used it at all. The water leaking on the floor left the whole room smelling dreadful with the hot sunshine. The above games room was simply too hot to use and no fans or air con were available. This was also the case in the bedrooms which were exceptionally hot. There are only two available toilets, both of which are in the main house on the first and second floors. Not very useful with 3 grandchildren under 8yrs needing to be accompanied from the pool area regularly! No locks on the bathroom doors and in the case of at least two bedrooms the doors did not close properly. A property advertised for a party of 10 yet surprisingly no more than 5 seats in the sitting room available. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment but connected to the dining room by a set of highly varnished stairs without a handrail making it difficult to carry food plates etc up and down safely. This resulted in one of our party having a fall during the week. Please do not let this happen to anyone else and install a handrail! The swimming pool is exceptional. Very clean although required attention when the filter stopped working due to hot weather lowering the water level. The patio area directly outside the kitchen, leading to the garden is broken and uneven. Not acceptable for elderly or young children to walk on. All of these problems can be resolved with some care and attention, unfortunately not in time for our family holiday.

Samen met een groep collega's (we waren met 8 personen) hebben wij allen genoten van ons verblijf in deze prachtige, authentieke herenwoning. De woning zelf is volledig en tot in de details vernieuwd en bezit alle moderne comfort. Ons gezelschap heeft genoten van het zeer ruime terras, ideaal om in het zonnetje te ontbijten, het naar onze normen zeer grote zwembad en de verzorgde jacuzzi en sauna. De streek is een parel in het champagne/bourgogne-landschap en leent zich perfect voor cultuur-uitstappen (Troyes, Reims, ...), degustaties en wat meer actievere uitdagingen (wij hebben MTB's gehuurd en de streek per fiets verkend). De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep zeer vlot, hij reageerde steevast onmiddellijk en de regeling voor, tijdens en na het verblijf was vlekkeloos. Wij zouden zonder aarzelen deze plaats opnieuw boeken als de gelegenheid zich voordoet. Een absolute aanrader voor gezinnen, families en (grotere) gezelschappen.

Ligt erg afgelegen! Maar dat was bekend. In de beschrijving staat dat er elke ochtend een bakker komt, dat is niet zo. 10 km Naar de bakker elke ochtend! Jammer! Fantastisch zwembad en groot huis van alle gemakken voorzien! Perfect voor een week rust! Een Beetje stad is een uur rijden.

Prachtige omgeving en een klein rustig dorpje. Ontvangst door de eigenaar was zeer hartelijk. Prachtig zwembad en aanpalende poolhouse met sauna, douche en toilet. Ideaal voor een dagje zwembadpret. Groot zonovergoten terras om gezellig te bbq'en. Jammer dat het huisje zelf erg vuil was. Overal oude spinnenwebben, in de keuken alles erg vettig, veel vuil rond het zwembad,... Ook wisten we niet op voorhand dat de eetkamer gescheiden was van de keuken door een grote trap. Met een klein kruipertje was dit erg vervelend.

Super! Tolles Haus, tolle Gegend, es hat an nichts gefehlt

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern dort und wir sind alle total zufrieden. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe renoviert. Es ist vollständig eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Uns hat es an Nichts gefehlt. Der Pool ist super. Die Bilder werden dem nicht gerecht. Wir waren alle positiv überrascht. Die Zeit ging viel zu schnell herum und wir wären gerne geblieben. Die Menschen sind alle sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Bei Fragen jeglicher Art war der freundliche Eigentümer per EMail zu erreichen und immer sehr hilfsbereit.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern dort und wir sind alle total zufrieden. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe renoviert. Es ist vollständig eingerichtet. Uns hat es an Nichts gefehlt. Der Pool ist super. Die Zeit ging viel zu schnell herum und wir wären gerne geblieben. Bei Fragen jeglicher Art war der Eigentümer per EMail zu erreichen und immer sehr hilfsbereit.

Sehr schön, mit viel Liebe zum Detail restauriertes Haus. Fantastischer Pool, dem das einzige Foto nicht gerecht wird. Praktische Aufteilung der Räume, auch für zwei Familien. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, der Bäcker kommt praktischerweise morgens direkt vors Haus. Sehr ruhig, etwas abseits gelegenes winziges Dorf, mit freundlichen Nachbarn, von dem aus alle interessanten Ziele im Nord-/Zentralburgund mühelos erreicht werden können.

Prachtig huis waar alles aanwezig is, verwarmd zwembad, tip top in orde. Eigenaar was niet aanwezig doch heeft meermaals gebeld, spreekt goed nederlands, internetprobleempje onmiddellijk opgelost. Prima huis, echt een aanrader voor gezin met kinderen.
