Le Chantenay is een verborgen pareltje op het Franse platteland. Het authentieke huis is schoon, verzorgd en heeft een heerlijke grote keuken. In en rondom het zwembad is het lekker relaxen. De hottub die binnenkort wordt toegevoegd, geeft nog een extra vakantiegevoel. De hond had de tijd van zijn leven. Op het grote (goed omheinde) perceel kon hij heerlijk rennen, spelen en nieuwsgierig kwispelen naar de koeien in het naastgelegen weiland. Het huis heeft veel privacy door de locatie in de landerijen net buiten Chantenay-Saint-Imbert. De snelweg is vlakbij, waardoor je in afzienbare tijd bij een van de nabijgelegen stadjes en/of winkelcentra bent. Het contact met de eigenaar is snel en gastvrij. Le Chantenay is een fijn adres voor een relaxte vakantie van alle gemakken voorzien.

Het is een mooi huis met prachtige grote tuin. Het zwembad is heerlijk en omringd door comfortabel meubilair, waardoor het goed ontspannen is. De omgeving is groen en rustig. We hebben allerlei vogels gespot, maar ook reeën en een vosje! Gelet op de prijsklasse en onze ervaring met vergelijkbare huizen viel dit huis wel tegen als het gaat om schoonmaak, onderhoud (bijv. verzakte tegels bij zwembad met verwonding aan voet als gevolg) en service (de beloofde fietsen waren onbruikbaar, badlinnen bleek slechts 1 handdoek p.p. waardoor we zelf handdoeken moesten kopen).

Charmant vakantiehuis met een prachtige tuin. Het is heel erg rustig gelegen tussen de velden, ideaal voor een relaxvakantie. Wij zochten een rustig gelegen huis zodat onze hond mee kon en op dat vlak is het verblijf 100% meegevallen. Binnenin het huis is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt, al zijn sommige zaken wel verouderd. Dit draagt natuurlijk wel bij aan de charme ;-) Qua netheid hadden ze iets aandachtiger mogen zijn. Er waren in bijna elk hoekje nog stof- en spinnenwebben te vinden. De vloeren, keuken, badkamers enz waren gelukkig wel erg netjes. Maar als je €130 betaalt voor schoonmaakkosten had het wel spik en span mogen zijn

Des menteurs !! Nous sommes allĂ©s la bas pour vivre une belle expĂ©rience avec une piscine chauffĂ©e. Il n’en est rien du tout. Une maison trĂšs sale pas du tout entretenue, et le comble , c’est que la piscine n’était pas du tout chauffĂ© et remplie de bestiole en tout genre. Nous avons directement appelĂ© pour la piscine qui n’était pas chauffĂ© mais nous avons eu une rĂ©ponse Ă  la fin du sĂ©jour pour nous dire que la pompe Ă©tait cassĂ©e depuis un moment. Une honte !

Das Haus war sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Vor allem die obere Etage hatte einen großen WohlfĂŒhleffekt. Der Garten mit den vielen BĂ€umen ist traumhaft und riesig. Man hat an vielen Stellen schöne Sitzgelegenheiten, sowohl an dem schönen Pool als auch um das Haus herum. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Aangename gerust vakantie

De woning is authentiek en voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Het comfort is basic maar alles om een ontspannen vakantie te hebben is aanwezig. Het zwembad is een dikke surplus! De streek is rustig maar in de dorpjes en steden rondom valt weinig te beleven.

Makkelijk te vinden en duidelijke instructies. Voldoet volledig aan de gegeven omschrijving. Prachtige, grote en volledig omheinde tuin met veel bomen voor schaduw op de warme dagen (en een hangmat!) Ruim zwembad (met floaties) en voldoende ligstoelen en parasols. Ruime accommodatie met 1 open grote slaapkamer (ene helft van bovenverdieping) en 2 slaapkamers met deur. Wel smalle bedden (1,40 m) Ruime keuken met ruime voorzieningen op gebied van potten, pannen, borden, bestek en ander gerief. Alleen vond ik het jammer dat er geen peper en zout was. Had nu wel veel meegebracht maar dat nu net niet. (heb mijn aangeschafte peper en zout laten staan dus dat zou ondertussen moeten OK zijn). Ook met de 2 rolletjes toiletpapier gingen we de week niet uitzingen. Gelukkig is er in het dorp een proxi marché met een ruime assortiment. Verder vind je in het dorp een warme bakker en een levendig restaurant/café. Tip: reserveer je plaats in het restaurant tijdens het weekend als je op het terras wil zitten. Huis ligt wel aan een verbindingsweg dus er komt wel eens een auto langs ook s'nachts (ik weet het, we zijn op dat gebied thuis wat verwend). Verder denk ik dat er wat einde seizoensmoeheid was: enkele ligstoelen waren gebroken, bril toilet beneden was los, poort kon alleen nog met ketting dicht gehouden worden. Geen grote problemen dus. Al bij al een heel goede vakantie gehad met prima weer trouwens. En onze honden hebben ook genoten!

Wij hebben een fijne vakantie gehad, alleen is het hek rondom het terrein aan vervanging toe. De koeien stonden naast het zwembad en waren over het gek geklommen. Enige minpunt is de woonkamer, waar een vervelende lucht hangt vanwege de openhaard. Niet echt gezond. wij zijn dan ook niet in deze ruimte geweest tijdens onze vakantie.
