"This was a nice hotel. The breakfast was great and the staff helpful and personable. The main concern was the air conditioning which didn’t really cool and control the humidity. Otherwise, turning left into the hotel was a traffic hazard with oncoming traffic and no turn lane."

"This property was very clean and very well stocked. It was like coming home while being on vacation. It's very kind friendly with multiple activities like fishing or crabbing from the dock, kayaking in the sound, or lounging in the hot tub. The neighborhood was quiet and was a great place to relax. It's on the list to stay at again."

"The property is a lovely, quiet destination where you can relax and enjoy beautiful scenery. This is a a nature-lover’s delight as you can marvel at waterfront sunrise/sunsets, bird watch, fish, and cruise around on your kayaks (and that’s just at the property — Kitty Hawk beach is an easy 30 ride away). The renovations throughout and ample room sizes makes this an excellent choice for families. My husband and I plan to buy a set of those Turkish Cotton towels! They were an added bonus after a nice shower!! Highly recommended!! We would visit again."

"Staff were efficient, friendly and professional. Check-in took less than a minute. Room was clean and the entire hotel was quite nice, however the shower floor and refrigerator shelves had perma-stains that were no big deal, just a little unsightly. Pool and workout room were both very nice and well maintained. Breakfast was about what anyplace offers: Juice, coffee, cereal & milk, and waffle batter. For the price it was definitely well worth it. Would recommend highly so long as your not looking for luxury."
