「Die Unterkunft war ok, besonders gefallen hat uns die sichere Unterbringung der Räder auf dem verschlossenen Parkplatz. Gar nicht gefallen hat uns der späte check-in, leider typisch für die Region. Da das Hotel mittags geschlossen ist, war auch keine Aufbewahrung unseres Gepäcks möglich.」

「Hond werd goed geaccepteerd en vriendelijk personeel. Airco deed het goed en een leuk dorpje met mooi oud kasteel. Absoluut de moeite waard ondanks niet het meest moderne verblijf. 」

「Bon séjour dans cette hôtel. Le personnel est très serviable et l’espace extérieur est agréable. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais suffises pour une nuit. La chambre est propre et comprend la clim (essentiel avec les fortes chaleurs) Le petit déjeuner est complet avec des viennoiseries locales. Il n’y a pas de frigo dans la chambre mais le personnel nous a gentiment proposé de mettre au frais nos affaires.」

「We had an amazing stay at this beautiful château in the countryside of the Loire Valley. The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. Having come from busy, crowded and loud Paris (which we loved as well), Château de la Giraudière was exactly what we needed next; quiet, fresh air and a small village environment. 「We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a dressing area and large bathroom. The beds was comfortable and the location peaceful. The grounds are well maintained and there was quite a large swimming pool with sunbeds. We didn't have any meals at the chateau but the dining room looked cosy and inviting. The staff are pleasant and helpful. If we travel down this way again, we will definitely stay at Les Muids. It's a stunning place.」

Toilet seat was hanging off the bowl, you couldn’t sit on it without it hurling you sideways! Soap? Well that was dispensed in 2 tiny packets Shower - held 7’ in the air just the head no slider.. 18” above the shower screen? Bathroom was freezing due to a duct in the ceiling that let cold air in - and removed any warm air that we circulated in there via a sliding...
