"Staying at the Stanley was lovely, the views were amazing, however sadly the Hotel across the way with its big Blue sign ruined the night time view. The food was amazing too although it’s a shame that the room menu wasn’t available in the restaurant still really nice though. The staff in the Hotel were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful nothing was too much for them, our rooms were always cleaned well and made tidy on a daily basis too. We really enjoyed our stay in Athens "

"When I contacted the host from our cruise ship about check-in instructions, he yelled at me about not having emailed him earlier. I tried to explain I had been traveling without internet. He was NOT helpful! He told me to download WhatsApp and figure it out, which I did. He made a point of telling us we could not check in until 3:00. When we arrived at 3:30, the apartment was wide open and had not been cleaned. It was full of garbage and dirty linen. I message the host through WhatsApp, and he did "send me pictures." Then he said it was an unfortunate situation with the cleaning crew and it would be ready by 5:00. The apartment was cleaned at 5:24. In the meantime, my husband and I spend two hours sitting on a bench. Once we got in, we closed the door and stayed in for the night. The next morning we got up and went out to breakfast. When we returned, the door wouldn't open. Assuming we were doing something wrong, we worked on it for 15 minutes before contacting the host again. He said he would send someone, which he did. That person determined a locksmith needed to be called. We were back waiting on the bench for another 1 1/2 hours before they determined the batteries had been installed upside down in the door lock. The apartment was in a good location and nice. But our experience there wasn't the best. We understand that things happen, but those things are easier to take when the staff is nice."

"Excellent hotel with fantastic location 10-15 minutes walk from the acropolis and many other important sites of Athens. The buffet breakfast had many options and its location on the 8th floor with views of the acropolis is a perfect way to start the day in Athens."
