“I was pleasantly surprised at how nice a place Zanzibar View Hotel was. One of the most beautiful and clean (very clean) boutique hotels I have stayed in. I found out that it was just recently opened, and that’s why no previous reviews. Every one of the hotel staff was very pleasant, from the manager all the way to housekeeping. “Rashid and Kelvin were the absolute best hosts! So nice I came back twice. Emerald Palm is the home away from home. Staff are warm and friendly and it's in a great location in Stone Town. Definitely recommend this hotel. ”

“Poor management and the hotel has no freedom by desk but is operated out of a restaurant that is around the corner. The room is basic a bed and bath. The manager is not around but part of the time but only at the restaurant. No sign at restaurant that there is a hotel and we were the only guests. Would not return. ”

“We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. The hotel is far from what's in the picture. It's vert dilapidated and unkempt. It smells really bad.
