Budget Motel - Good Value
The motel somewhat tricky to find however beautiful location on the river. Very quiet, room well appointed and clean. Good lighting in bathroom and great shower pressure. Very reasonable rates. Very good pizza restaurant 5 mins walk away.

The room was just as described by other reviews we read. Quiet location, right on the Kanawha River. Parking right in front of room, and very clean rooms. Nothing fancy, but a nice overnight and affordable stay.

We recently stayed at the budget inn hotel and had a pleasant experience. The place was fairly clean, which made our stay comfortable. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the visit. The location is also quite nice, with great river views. Overall, a good choice for a stay!

A nice stopover heading south
We have stayed at this place many times for an over night stay on the way south. It’s clean and comfortable. It’s an older motel that is well-maintained and kept up. They have made many updates over the years. It’s situated along a river and we have spent time watching the river traffic during warm weather, which is enjoyable. We will stay there again.

If you are looking for a quiet clean place to stay the night this is a perfect place. We were lucky to get a room facing the lovely river. Like other reviews it is a bit dated but the bed is comfy, the water pressure is great, and the room is a nice size. FYI for coffee lovers there is no coffee machine in the room but we got one from nearby when we left.
