We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is absolutely beautiful. We felt a little confused getting to the property because GPS was not accurate and we had to drive through the parking lot of a dog boarding business but there were signs that were helpful. The home was beautiful and thoughtful. The hot tub was clean and a nice amenity. The pond was beautiful. We woke up to snow on the last day and it was beautiful. Very cozy getaway. I truly can’t think of any negatives. You won’t regret this stay!
Had a no kids get away weekend that was relaxing and refreshing. The drive up the hill without 4-wheel drive could be a little tricky. Would recommend staying here.

Absolutely amazing! It rained one day there and it was still so cozy!! Very Clean! Apple Maps didn’t take us directly to it and you will DEFINITELY need a 4WD vehicle to get up the driveway.
Nice location and set up for staying 3 nights near Hurricane, WV. Bed was very comfortable. Definitely will choice location when in the area again in the future.
Was a nice place, Google maps doesn't lead you to it. If you keep going past where Google maps says it, there are signs to help find it

Memorial Day
We had to wait for it to be cleaned. After waiting outside for it to be cleaned i had a tick on me. The hot tub jets wouldnt work until the next morning and mice had eaten several coffee pods
Horrible Place and owners don't care about there guests. DO NOT RENT OUT THIS PLACE.
Driveway to get up to the cabin you have put the peddle to the floor to get to the cabin. The land scaping is terrible. Dangerous steps to get to a fire pit. The fire pit was hanging over the edge and looked like it was going to fall into pond. Tried fishing and throwing out the provided fish food. Did not see one fish. Also every were around the lake was muddy because no man-made shore. Couldn't use boat because the boat was left in the pound half submerged. When we walked into the cabin, we read the list of rules we had to follow while there. One of the rules was you can't wear shoes in the cabin. The floors were dirty so we grabbed the swifter to clean it up. They charge a cleaning fee and we had to clean the mess. Also there rules pretty much required that we clean the place before you leave. So why do they charge a cleaning fee when they expect guests to clean up the cabin. The next day was rainy. When we got up we noticed that the floors where wet. Somehow a lot of moisture gets into the cabin. When I went outside to put my shoes on my shoe were soaked from the rain. They should provide a shoe wreck since you cannot wear shoes in the cabin. Later that day we tried to get into the hot tub but it wasn't working and there was no one to call after hours to come look at it. The next day again floors where wet when we woke up and my wife slipped. Someone to come look at the hot tub. When he came over to fix it. He told us that the tub went into sleep mode and that it happens all the time. So this time he decided to bypass and turn off the sleep mode so it would happen to anymore guests. I still don't get why they didn't do that in the first place before we got there. Later that night we decided to get food. When the food came we moved table in living room. Table leg apparently was broken and about crushed my foot. Also the AC in bedroom stopped working and it felt like we were sleeping in a Sona with all the moister in cabin. Our last day there again woke up to wet floors but this time we also woke up to a wet bed. The roof was leaking on bed. We got up to pack up and when I checked on the side of the bed there was BLACK MOLD all over the side of bed. We packed up and left and tried talking to the owners about our issues and they just ignored us. So now I wrote this review instead because owner won't even call us back. There were more issues but only little room to write. Go to Big Rock Cabins in ohio instead they treat customers right.
We really enjoyed our stay here! It was beautiful and secluded! The hot tub was clean, the bedroom was cozy, and the view of the woods and pond was beautiful. The home looked as it did in the photos. There were robes for the hot tub too, which was a nice addition!
It was so beautiful, private and relaxing! The shipping container is so unique, it was also very clean! The property manager got back to us right away to help with the minor WiFi issue, it was super fun overall thanks so much for the experience!
This property provides a fun getaway for a long weekend. Private location but also close to town for restaurants and such. Also close to Meeks Mountain Trails, which was a nice thing to do with the dog. The indoor/outdoor living setup with the garage door and the deck was nice too and made the lodging feel quite roomy.
Gorgeous, peaceful, private, fun fishing, enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The Garage door to the outside was a great experience we watched the deer eat along the mountain side. The container was very clean, comfortable and we didn’t need or want anything that wasn’t already there. I would definitely recommend and return for another stay in the future.
The drive up to the place is tricky and you will need to get some momentum to make it up. The shower leaks so put a towel by the door in the bedroom against the wall closet to the shower to prevent a puddle from happening. Very peaceful getaway.
Everything was so lovely. The setting made it easy to relax. There was a family who drove up on an ATV, which isn't a problem, just glad they drove up before we got in the hot-tub!
