"I found the hotel to be lovely and the staff very friendly. However, my room, though I am only speaking about my room and make no judgement on other rooms, was sub-standard. The cold and hot water taps leaked when you turned them on soaking the counter. There was a smell of sewage coming from the sink drain when the water was running. I have no idea what would cause that. The bathroom fan did not work, so the mirror steamed when we showered. The bathroom door lock would stick locked in a locked position. On our first night, we had to call the front desk to send up maintenance to unlock our bathroom door. The worker said the lock was not working properly and that we shouldn't lock it again. That was fine, for the night, but there was no follow up the next day. There was no attempt to fix the lock, during our stay. There was no offer to move us to another room. Luckily, we didn't want to bother with moving to another room, but the offer should have been made. When you pay top dollar to stay in a hotel it is fair to expect better care. However, the lobby is beautiful, the pool area well kept and the staff was friendly and polite."

"The hotel shows it's age. The lobby was small but adequate. Our room seemed spacious, but we only stayed one night. Everything needs to be replaced and water stains on the ceiling repaired. We'll never stay again."
