“The staff were great, the food cart in the parking lot, the WiFi is good, and the beds are comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that there really isn't much nearby, so if you don't have a car, expect a 15+ min walk to any food, groceries, or the tram line. Normally, that isn't a problem for me, but it was raining a lot the weekend that I was there, so a bit inconvenient.”

“Amazing stay close to Bordeaux but still secluded. We enjoyed a relaxed 2-night stay (in a spatious room), and especially enjoyed the 24/7-available wine bar as well as the sunrise on the estate with a coffee (included even if no breakfast is booked). Staff was very attentive and friendly, would definitely recommend!”

“This was an interesting place. it is not a typical hotel being a 'co-living' centre with several long stay options as well as short stays. It is to the north of the city centre but within easy reach of tram and bus. The room was clean, comfortable and while not luxurious had all that could be asked. There is no restaurant or bar but the Halle Bacalan is a 10 minute walk away with a range of food bars. Breakfast is self service and fine. The staff were friendly and helpful providing advice……

“Good sides: Decent service, nice atmosphere in the restaurant, the wine buffet was fun. Bad sides: noise came from next door AC but staff finally fit it with a compensation. Rainy weather made visiting the outdoor pool and vineyard less fun and a small room was given. ”

“Most of the amenities weren’t available but the beauty of the chateau and the kindness of the caretakers more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a quiet place to soak in the countryside, this is it. Serene, quiet and beautiful If you don’t have a vehicle be sure to stop at the grocery before heading in. Breakfast is provided but you’re on your own for anything else. The shared kitchen is easy if you’re prepared. I would absolutely recommend a stay at this peaceful chateau away from……
