family vacation

We just returned from a lovely stay with our children and grandchildren. The house was perfect with nice, clean accommodations for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need including both a Keurig and a drip coffeemaker to satisfy our heavy coffee drinking crowd. The outdoor shower was a welcome addition to clean the sand off after the beach. The deck was beautiful with ample seating arrangements and overlooked the marsh. The best part was how secluded the house was with beautfiul landscaping. We would definitely return.

Family trip to the Cape

Extended family trip and this home was perfect! Plenty of space for all the adults and kids. Lots of sitting areas - beautiful home and garden. We all had a fabulous time and location was excellent. Thank you for contributing a big part of our wonderful vacation!

Large house, Private and clean

This house was perfect for our annual golf trip. The basement was perfect for hanging out. The only thing I wish the house had was a larger, flatter yard. Either way we had a great time in this house!

Perfect

3 couples shared this lovely, perfectly located house. There are multiple places to be together or apart. The back deck and kitchen look out into an expanse of marshland. We loved eating meals outside after shared cooking in the large kitchen. So much to love in this exceedingly comfortable, well maintained hpuse.

Great location

The house was great. Location was amazing and the amenities worked well. Check in was very late and we sat outside of the house for 2 hours prior to 4pm even though the cleaners had clearly left. I did reach out but was told I had to wait until 4pm Listing shows 2 king beds but there is only 1 - luckily we brought enough queen linen so it worked. House was delightful and the location was amazing.

Lovely site

Lovely site, comfortable home. Basement ping pong and children’s blocks very helpful during wet days. Convenient access to bike trails and easy walk to beach for our 5 year old. Visitors should be aware that the kitchen is well stocked with equipment but has no staples such as salt and pepper. Also be aware that only single ply toilet paper can be used with the septic system.

Lovely but could use some attention

LOVED the place. Our family enjoyed the basement game room and the outdoor spaces. Could use a good cleaning to the sofas and rug in the front room. Tiny flying flies everywhere in the house. But you are beside a beautiful marsh and it is worth the sacrifice. Although I had to keep a cover on my red wine because they were getting more than me!

The perfect house!

Our biggest dilemma during our stay was figuring out which of the great outdoor spaces to use! The fire pit Was perfect for chilling at night, and the deck wad a picturesque morning and midday hangout with a view of a beautiful wetland. Indoor space was perfect for two families. It included a fully furnished basement where the kids love to hang out and play ping-pong. There were lots of other games for them to play. They were beach chairs, I fully equipped kitchen, and just enough smart TVs to pull us away from the outside from time to time. Location was perfect to walk to the sound side water and beaches, but still only an 18 minute drive to Skaket Beach - perfect for the kids.

Love the Firepit!

Lovely home. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our group of 9. The firepit was the perfect spot to spend our evenings. Easy access to the beach, Chatham, Harwichport and the ponds in Harwich and Brewster!

Relaxing stay in Chatham

What a gorgeous house! Pics do not do it justice- Kitchen has been renovated since these were taken. The minute we walked into the house, we felt totally relaxed. Driving distance to everything- We loved the fire pit and the quiet neighborhood. Would love to be back next year!

Beautiful home. Lots of privacy and quiet. Great response from New England VR when a tree limb needed to be removed after a big storm. Also they sent out a maintenance person to clean out the smoke detectors after they went in the middle of the night. Only suggestion is to clean the wood chairs of mold around the fire pit. Otherwise it accommodated 6 adults and 2 kids very well. Great rental.

Beautiful Birds!

One of our primary reasons for renting this house was the hope that we would see some impressive birds. We did! We saw herons and several other large birds in the wetlands behind the house. The yard is beautiful. The beds are comfortable. Every room is tastefully decorated. We plan to return here next year.

The Heron's Nest

We loved the house, the plantings in front, and the location. The house was well kept and had plenty of supplies. We spotted an egret and a large red tailed hawk in the marsh behind the house. We enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit! The rental agency was very responsive. Two of our guests had problems with the beds, which were too soft for them to sleep comfortably, and we needed a small stool for the bathroom.. The agency immediately purchased mattress toppers and a stool, delivered them, put the toppers on the beds, and remade the beds. Impressive! I've never had that kind of treatment from a cape rental agency before! The only drawback for us was that the children couldn't really play in the yard. It slopes down to shrubs and some poison ivy. But they rode bikes in the neighborhood. And this may just be a fluke, but we were not able to move our suitcases into the house until 3:45! The cleaning agency had fallen behind. The house was very clean, when we were able to get in. We would definitely rent this house again.
