“We thought the place was good not great. We upgraded to a king room with patio and we got the room right above the restaurant facing the whale art so very little privacy. The rooms advertised online seem much more private. Cute stay though and great location. The breakfast is bare minimum with eggs being the only warm option.”

I liked the balcony space to relax and use as an extra space if I didn't want to stay inside. The bathroom could use with some modern touches but it had plenty of room. “This is a great basic room, right next to the ocean. There is nothing luxurious about it, but it's also priced accordingly. One small comment I would love to see the addition of a small corner desk and a tiny chair. “The pool water was murky/dirty upon check in on July 3. A sign stated that the pool would be inspected on July 15. It should have been repaired prior to the July 4th holiday! There has been a great change from last year's owners. We have stayed there several years in a row and the pool was clean. The breakfast hours have been reduced from 7 am to 9 am instead of 10 am. “The maid came each day to bring new towels, replenish coffee supplies, and make the beds. The front desk was helpful in getting WiFi to stay on and providing tea bags. Parking space was reserved with room number right outside the door.”

“I loved staying at Blue Water Resort! Right on the beach with easy access, helpful staff, easy parking and checking in/out. I do just wish housekeeping would have made beds between cleanings, and also there was a pasta sauce stain on the floor outside room 104 (down the hall from our room) that was there our entire stay. The floors to the rooms stay covered in sand, as housekeeping doesn’t vacuum each day. I would stay here again for the convenience to the pools and access to the beach, but do……

“It does have fun vibe but the in my opinion the resort is geared to families with children. This is a large property with spread out accommodations with no elevators. Additionally the pool is tucked in between buildings and somewhat difficult to find. Food at the restaurant was just OK.”
