The Neighborhood:
Northumberland's Heritage Coastline is home to this charming and tranquil harbour village, which sits on the shores of Beadnell Bay. Beadnell, which dates back to the Saxon period, was once a bustling fishing port and a haven for smugglers. Despite the fact that it is still primarily a fishing community, it has become increasingly popular with tourists who come to take advantage of its charming harbour and the many nearby sandy beaches. There is a supermarket, two pubs, and a cafe in the village. Seahouses, a bustling seaside town just over a mile away, is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. From the harbour, visitors can take boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, which are a haven for bird watchers. It is only a short drive from Bamburgh to Alnwick, a market town with its castle and gardens, shops, pubs, and restaurants.
