Cute and convenient!
Absolutely wonderful cottage! Everything we needed and so clean and cute. We wanted to do all the things offered at Lookout Mountain and loved being able to easily go "back home" between things. My daughter and I both took turns sleeping on the pull out couch/bed. Had a couple little questions for the manager/owner and she was awesome about getting back to me with answers. I would recommend this vrbo and this owner/manager. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

Property was in a good location. I was cute and very clean. Owners have a nice book with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. Enjoyed being able to have a fire in the fire pit on the back and the privacy.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

Cozy cabin in great location
We had the best little getaway at Blue Ivy! Super clean, cozy cottage that is really close to all things Chattanooga. We loved the notebook of recommended restaurants, things to do, etc. What an unexpected treat to hike down to Sunset Rock for a gorgeous sunset. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Ivy. Kitchen was well equipped and deck is nice seating area. Coffee maker and coffee was provided! Bed is comfortable. Nice walk up the road to hiking trails. Would definitely return!

Picture perfect!
Really enjoyed our stay. With so much to do outdoors this house had the perfect amount of space for my husband, teenage son and I. The house binder had a lot of really useful tips and suggestions. Can’t wait to come back to check out a few sites we didn’t have time for. Sunset peak was well worth the winding narrow drive up the mountain. Blue Ivy was overall the perfect host for a very memorable trip for my family.

Cozy Cabin in a Perfect Location
We really enjoyed this cabin! It is tucked in the mountain and centrally located to everything, whether you want to go back into town or visit all the attractions on the mountain. It’s a short drive or hike to Craven’s house for a sunrise or a sunset at Sunset Rock. It’s a short drive to Ruby Falls, Point Park, Incline Railway or Rock City. This cabin is clean and fully stocked with everything if you want to just relax there and enjoy the fire pit and views. We will definitely visit again. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

comfortable for two and well provisioned for guests
We enjoyed our stay even though the weather was rainy and overcast almost the entire time . the cottage is very well prepared for visitors...wife loved the decor and thoughtful touches, nice towels and comfy bed... perfect size for a couple. we would have enjoyed the deck, but the weather did not cooperate. Access to downtown is an easy 10-15 mins away including a nice Publix grocery at the foot of the mountain.

Cute cottage on the mountain
My husband & I recently stayed at Blue Ivy, four nights. It looks exactly like pictures in VRBO. Small living area, right next to kitchen which has small table . Bedroom right off living area . Cute decor. Check in was easy, communication with property manager was quick & efficient. It is located on Lookout MTN. Just a few minutes trip to downtown Chattanooga. Nice sitting area on front porch as well as deck off kitchen. Unfortunately we did not get to use fire pit. It is on small road, with neighbors but was very quiet while we were there. Do wish it had laundry facilities, but knew it didn't. Did spend some vacation time at a laundromat in Chattanooga. Cottage is very close to Ruby Falls & Rock City & other attractions in Lookout Mountain. Nice cottage for short stay

Girls get away
We had a girls getaway. It included hiking and yoga at a Lula Lake. We enjoyed Sunset Ridge, as well as hiking in the areas around Blue Ivy. The cabin was adorable! All the ladies loved the Decour! We also had an amazing time, laughing by the fire pit! It was medicine for our souls!

Cute cabin in great location!
The cabin’s location cannot be beat! Hiked up to Point Park and short drives to many sites. My son loved sitting on the rock outside and looking out. We could see the city lights from the patio. Lovely decor and vibe! Host was helpful with questions too!

The location was great. The place was cute and very clean. The veiw was amazing(we where there in February with no leaves on the trees). They were very accommodating. They were quick to response to any questions we had and checked on us during the stay. They also have a book letting you know of all the things you can do.

Perfect getaway!
The location is fantastic for hiking and easy access to all the fun on Lookout Mountain. We walked to the Sunset Rock trailhead and later caught an Uber downtown to have burgers and beer! The cabin was wonderful and we had everything we could ask for including a gorgeous view of downtown lights from our back deck in the evening! We will definitely be back!!

A Magical Mountaintop Stay!
I can't wait to come back to this property. It had been on my saved list for well over a year and I was finally able to get up there, even it was just for one night. It was the first out of town trip with the new bf and was set up perfectly for that! From the wonderful communication from Katie to the absolutely adorable set up decor-wise, I loved everything. It was easy to find, which is always a nervous part of driving in the rain up the mountain. I felt tucked away in a little cove and the fact the trails were RIGHT THERE. oooh, it was the BEST! The personal touches in the bathroom and kitchen were great to receive. We loved it so much we stayed in playing cards and having old fashioneds and football games instead of leaving. The next morning, you take a right out of the parking area and you'll be on your first hike! We didnt' have the sky needed for a clear sunrise so we decided to do the Point Park hike. 750 feet! It was such a cool hike, so much to read and explore and made me feel a thousand miles away from Nashville. Exactly what my soul needed.

My wife and I picked Blue Ivy for our honeymoon and weren’t disappointed. This house is so close to everything in Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Rock City, and great trailheads to explore. We loved this cozy house and will definitely stay here again.

The property is quaint. Great access to trails and close to downtown. Dinners on the back porch and strolls to Cravens House that turn into hikes to sunset rock were the most memorable parts of the trip.

We couldn’t have had a better experience. The cottage is comfortable and very well maintained, Kate and Joel were very responsive to any questions we had, and the location was fantastic! It’s a short drive to just about anywhere you’d like to go, including hiking, and the view is great.

We really enjoyed our stay. Some great hiking and boating in the area. Host was easily accessible. Fire pit in the back area provided a nice space for me and mine to hang. Note pick up wood and any grill related items to fully enjoy property. I suggest Publix.

A wonderful, cozy home in a fabulous, quiet location (at least in April!). We were able to combine our love of hiking with exploration of Civil War historical sites just steps from the front door! My husband described the location as zen-like. Highly recommend!

I wish we had more time here!
I booked Blue Ivy as a one night stay for my anniversary. We spent most of the evening downtown and arrived late that evening. I could easily spend a week there. It's a perfect getaway for two! There's a great view of the downtown lights at night and the close proximity to Ruby Falls and local hiking trails are convenient for sight seeing. The subtle nerdy touches like the vintage Batman comics and the tourist sign to meet the elves of Rivendell really made it for me personally. 13/10 will be staying there again!

This property was conveniently located (within walking distance) near several attractions (Cravens House, Sunset Rock, Rock City and Ruby Falls). The house was a perfect retreat with a beautiful view of the city. Definitely consider for your Chatanooga retreat.

Such an idyllic location and property. It's easy to find and yet feels like your own world. Perfectly situated about halfway up mountain so that you can still easily drive into town or further up mountain to explore. Loved all the details of the house and would love to come back.

Amazing Stay
The view and location really can't be overstated, it was absolutely stunning. It feels secluded but at the same time anything you'd want to go see or do is a pretty short drive away. The house was perfect and I'd absolutely recommend Blue Ivy for a weekend getaway.
