Had a great time here

Nice big house with a great dock. Had everything we needed and then some... wake board, paddle boards, ping pong, foosball, portable fire pit, BBQ, etc.. Dock is great for a boat, jet skis, whatever. There are 8 beds across 5 rooms. Great setup for multi-family. There is even sort of a kitchenette in master and in basement. Lots of stairs could be an issue for people with mobility issues. No real yard, but you are right on the water with 3 levels of decks. Garage can easily hold two cars, but it's a tight turn to get into it. You could get 2 or 3 cars out front, but I think they want to keep this 1 out front.

Great Christmas experience

It was a beautiful setting and lots of room for the whole family of 10 to enjoy and have ample space. Kids loved the foosball but disappointed they couldn't play ping pong as no lighting worked in the garage or the fireplace in the living room wouldn't stay lite. Had a sweet lady "Shericee" stopped by that same night we emailed the property co. and attempted to fix the problems but unable. She was such a kind and caring person and felt so bad! Loved the quick response to our emails and the quiet, serene atmosphere! Thank YOU.

Disappointed

I was waiting to review hoping there would be some resolution. We reserved for 6 nights but left after 2 due to the smoke. Vacasa kept telling us they’d be back with us shortly and that went on for 24 hours. They kept pushing us off, but we couldn’t stay in the conditions where the AQU got up to 171. Our doubt who came with us had a sinus infection and the smoke wasn’t helping. Our other 2 young adult children were coming with SO’s and we didn’t want everyone out in that condition. It wasn’t worth it to stay inside all week. The house wasn’t overly clean. The floors needed to be washed, there were dead bugs a the windowsills, there was a long dark, course hair in my sheets (I have light hair). Pictures show paddle boards and a Ping pong table, which they don’t have. There is a foosball table that my daughter was excited about, but it was missing 4 players and the ball was cracked. There is a large wasp issue on the porches, when we did try to go outside we didn’t stay out. Overall it was a VERY expensive disappointment. It was too bad. The house is right on the water with a shared dock that we never stopped for on. It has potential

Beautiful views but needs attention

We recently rented Boaters Paradise for a week with 7 people in our group (2 families). Getting right to the point, I would not recommend renting Boaters Paradise. I’ll start with the good points. The house is right in the lake with amazing views. There’s a private dock, but more on that later. It has 5 bedrooms to accommodate a large group. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with dishes and tools. The house has a couple paddle boards and floats with easy access through a garage door that leads to the dock. That’s about it for the good stuff. There were a number of issues with the house that were either neglected by the owner or not fixed by Vacasa after multiple calls/texts: * The house was dirty with spiders and cobwebs everywhere. This is a common complaint from other renters and has clearly not been addressed. The house really needs a deep clean. * The fridge ice maker and water dispenser didn’t work so we had to buy that all ourselves. When the Vacasa maintenance guy finally showed up (see below on this issue), I asked him about the issue with the fridge water dispenser and ice maker and the guy said that was a known issue due to a water line leak behind the fridge. As this was clearly a known issue, that would have been have great to know prior to our arrival so we could have stopped on the way to pick up ice and water instead of getting there and having to drive all the way back into town to buy it. * There were blood stains on the bedding in one of the bedrooms * There were no beach towels, so we had to use the house bath towels * Several window blinds in the house were broken or missing * The garage code didn’t work. * There was no foosball ball for foosball table or ping pong balls for the ping pong table. The games were advertised as part of the listing so this was a big disappointment for our kids. * There were no trash bags * The lock on the dumpster didn’t work for several days so we had to keep all trash piled up in the garage. * The Vacasa maintenance guy finally showed up after several days of me calling them. The guy brought a box of shampoo and laundry detergent, which I never asked for and had nothing to do with the list of issues we asked to be fixed. In fact, the guy who brought the box of supplies didn’t even know about the issues I had called multiple times about, as he said all he was told was to bring over the supplies. * I contacted Vacasa no less than 5 times on these issues and never got a call back even though each time someone promised to get back to me or have the local maintenance team contact me. This was easily the most frustrating part of the week. This lack of follow up continued after the vacation when I called to ask for a refund of part of the rental fee. I was told the request would be submitted and I would be contacted later that day, but it took several days to hear back. That said, Vacasa did come through in the end and refunded part of our rental fees to compensate for all the issues we had with the rental house. * This last point is more for people with a boat and looking to dock it at the house. Another reviewer also posted about this but if you have a boat, Boaters Paradise is ironically not the best place to stay. The dock is a floating dock and gets thrashed around from the waves that roll in from all the other boats in the lake. Your boat would get constantly slammed into the dock as there’s no boat lift. This thrashing also makes it difficult to sit on the dock and enjoy the sun unless you like a lot of rocking. We’ve previously rented through Vacasa several times. If this was a less expensive rental, we would have overlooked some of the issues, as we don’t expect a house to have everything stocked and in top condition. However, this was the most expensive house rental we’ve rented through Vacasa, VRBO or Airbnb and it didn’t come close to ...

Nice home but, dirty.

The home and view are beautiful but, the home was not properly cleaned. There was feces smeared on the main level bathroom. The toilets and some pillow cases were dirty. The jet tub was also dirty and ended up scrubbing and cleaning that myself so that kinda could enjoy. Unfortunately those issues made the stay somewhat uncomfortable. I sent an email with some pictures and never heard back.

Amazing property with bad cleanliness

I read the reviews, and thought I could deal with the dirtiness because the location was amazing and we really liked the look of the house. Unfortunately the floors were just covered in dirt, we like running around with out shoes on inside and all our socks were black, you could feel the dirt seeping through your socks. Lots of spills along the walls and such, the main things like kitchen and tubs were all wiped down, we did notice it looked like one set of beds had hairs in the sheets, but since there were four proper bedrooms here we chose not to use that room. I do hope they can get this place a deep cleaning so future guests can enjoy the wonderful space! The lake views are amazing and we loved swimming and floating around the dock. Bring your own floaties, and foos balls for the food ball table. Parking is indeed as described, could maybe fit two cars in the garage, but it would be hard due to the steep side of the driveway, one/ maybe two spots in front of the house, our suburban was able to park out front next to the house. Hope that helps!

House was filthy. Cleaners were in the house until 5pm, we had to wait in the driveway for an hour. Moldy food and silverware left laying around the house from previous guests. Mattresses on the floor. Trashed furniture. Read all of the reviews before booking. If you’re looking for a cozy, beautiful getaway, this is NOT the house.

Million dollar views, single-ply toilet paper

Wonderful location and great bones of a house. The views from each room are fantastic and the home has a cool layout. Feels like it's been a rental for a number of years and could use some TLC: There was still trash in the garbage when we showed up, a very sticky kitchen floor, dirty outdoor eating area and the like. The check-in and logistics were great and the parking was easier than other reviews indicated. If you bring a boat, watch out for the dock. There are exposed bolt-heads in the tie-up area that damaged the hull of our boat when an afternoon wind picked up. It was great to be on the water though and Lake Chelan is wonderful!

Good looking house, amazing view but some unpleasant experience while staying there.

At first sight we were impressed. House looked amazing, the view was breathtaking, everything seemed to be clean. When we start settling notices some problems with the cleanliness of the house, some technical issues and a broken table legs. All this was followed with phone calls and trying to get help not only on the first day of arrival but second day too. Our stay as a result was good not amazing as we expected. I have to give a big shout out to Sam Martin and general manager of Vacasa Sean, who assisted us in any way possible to them feel good and appreciated. They assured us that will do additional training to the staff so those problems won’t happen again. We will definitely be using Vacasa for our family getaway again.

Perfect stay on the lake

Dirty house

There were cob webs everywhere on the outside of the house. The windows were so dirty some you couldn’t see threw. We had to take a broom to the outside so spiders didn’t drop on us. Very expensive for it not being clean. Also we rented for 2 weeks and I had to buy my own dish soap. That seemed odd

Lake Chelan Waterfront fun

This is a large three-story house with lots of room on the lakefront with a nice dock and boat buoy. It’s a great house if you have a boat and want to spend lots of time on the lake (or just looking at it). The house has great views of the lake from most rooms and the decks on each of the three floors. The house had a nice gas grill and a ping pong table. The house is great for one or two families to enjoy a Great Lake vacation. My only minor complaint is that there were quite a few spider webs and bugs (mostly fruit flies) around the kitchen and living room area. I think this can be cleaned up with a little effort. Overall, I would rent the house again because of its roominess, location on the lake and its perfect for boat owners.

Great place on the water

I would have rated it a 5 if the house was cleaner. Lots of cob webs throughout the house. The house could use a deep clean. Also no WiFi. I made a call to Vacasa with no luck on reaching anyone. WiFi wasn’t a deal breaker of course but it was advertised and didn’t work. House had all the amenities we needed for the week. Nice dock and mooring bit for our boat. Ping pong table and fooseball were a great addition if the gorgeous water isn’t enough. Friendly neighbors on both sides of the property. Parking was slim. No boat trailer parking but you can rent a spot down at Pat and Mikes. The gas station right at the 97 and Lakeshore rd turn off or at the school in town. The house is listed as a 3 bedroom but it actually has 5. Not sure why it’s listed that way. All in all a great property and would rent again.

NOT a Boater's Paradise

The house was very nice and quite comfortable. However, the boating facilities are absolutely inadequate. There was no shore station unlike all of the 20+ houses in the same neighborhood (as well as the entire lake outside of marinas). The dock/mooring facilities and not suitable even for transitory or temporary docking during the day. Boat wake and wind waves constantly batter the boat. No amount of bumpers can protect a boat under the conditions. In addition, one night a storm came up and we were awakened at 1 am to find that the bow and stern lines had snapped (newer 5/8" lines) and the boat was pivoting wildly on the remaining midship line. There is a mooring buoy in the front of the house, but it too is not adequate--when we used it, the boat would pivot in high winds and strike the dock as well as the adjacent buoys. There is no dedicated trailer parking location. It was suggested after repeated questioning, that there was space at the top of the driveway down to the house. There was not as it was completely occupied. If we had not had friends at Wapato Point in Manson, we would have been out of luck. Whoever wrote the review for the house knew nothing about boats/boating or Lake Chelan or both. If you don't have a boat, you will likely love the place but . . .

Needs a deep clean

We had a nice time but the house was not that clean. I believe it needs a deep cleaning other than the cleaners who do a quick cleanup between guests. The main floor bathroom toilet needed a better scrubbing and there were hair balls and gunk on the floor. Noticed some gunk on the kitchen faucet as well. There were no beach towels as advertised and only one garbage receptacle (in the kitchen) in the whole house. Had to use grocery bags for garbage. The downstairs mini fridge did not work at all. Bring your own toilet paper and kleenex. Only mirrors are in the bathrooms. It was difficult to clarify information about this property before our trip as the managers were in another state and seemed to just go off what we could read ourselves in property description. Otherwise we had a nice time at this large water front property.

Gorgeous Accommodations w/Opportunities

To walk into this beautiful house and immediately see the view was breathtaking. What we didn’t let distract from that but was annoying nevertheless, was the broken foosball table other vacationers commented about in the past, the in-operational fireplace on the main floor, and our inability to get a response from Vacasa through the VRBO app. Other than that it was a vacation we’ll never forget.

Wonderful views and fishing off the dock, especially for kids. Location was great and quiet, garage access also a plus. While it was surface clean, feel it’s probably time for a good deep clean (cobwebs and dead bugs in corners and windowsills). The jetted bathtub spewed rusty reside each time used. Lacking kitchen essentials (our stay here was 6 nights and only one dishwasher pod, no paper towel or Kleenex). Couldn’t figure out how to operate both fireplaces. Amenities advertised are subpar or non-existent.

Fantastic view and spacious for a big family

Awesome view and very spacious! This is a great property that the whole family can really enjoy regardless of the season. The way it is structured made me feel like I am sitting on top of the water. You wake up to beautiful sun rising. We booked this place last minute to spend a few nights after cancelling our trip to Cabo. The view was actually as good as what I would get from Cabo. In fact in some ways it was better as the property was so close to the water. I believe this property can be much better presented with some minor improvements but could be a deal breaker for some. Cleanness was below par. The corners of window sill collected a pile of dusts, dead bugs and or spiderwebs Carpet was acceptable but wasn't throughly vacuumed as you could find crumbs and hairs. Bed sheets were damp and had some unpleasant odor. Thermostat was set to 65 in a locked box that I wasn’t allowed to change. The downstairs guests had to bundle up and sleep in 50s. The thermostat is located in the kitchen and naturally is 10degree higher than the downstairs when you cook. No local service rep available. I had to either call the central office or email which would be then relayed to a local rep. I just didn’t think they were as responsive as other rental service that I am used to. As I said, the property itself is wonderful. It has so much potential to be a very desirable vacation place if small details are addressed.

Nice place but communication not so good

Place is nice right on the lake. Don’t expect property manager to do anything if something isn’t working. 1. Thermostat is is locked so you can’t choose temperature setting you are comfortable with. Had to ping few times before someone came to fix (combination of messages and phone call was needed) 2. Foosball table is only for show, its broken 3. No hot water in master bath shower, despite complaints no one showed up to fix it
