Pleasant stay at Dawson House Lodge
Stayed in Dawson House Lodge on our way to Portland from Crater Lake. Close to the north entrance of Crater Lake. A historical motel with good maintenance. Helpful staff. Provide free coffee. The Mexican food truck accords the street is amazing!

It is a good place to stay if you want to visit Crater Lake, since the Crater Lake Lodge is so difficult to make the reservation.

The house was nice but it does not fit more than 6-8 people comfortably. Yes there are a lot of beds but the dining table and snack bar only really allow for seating of 6 people total. The 4th bedroom is outside on top of the garage with metal stairs that are a bit of a walk in the ice. Summer time ...
