"I’m staying at this hotel for the second time. On my first time through Delhi there was a problem with check-in. And then the air-conditioning in my room didn’t work. So I had to switch rooms at 4 o’clock in the morning. However, the assistant manager found out about my experience and bent over backwards to make sure the rest of my day went perfect perfectly. I was also headed down to Chennai where I was also booked into the Trident down there. When he found that out, he called down to Chennai and made some special arrangements for me that made my stay down in Chennai. Very smooth. I was highly impressed."

"The staff has been very helpful and goes that extra mile to make your stay most comfortable and accommodate the special request as much as they can. Worth mentioning services provided by Ms. Meryl, Mr. Saravanan, Ms. Oxendrila, Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Keith, Mr. Prabhakaran, Ms. Soundarya, Mr. Thomson, Mr. Jagan beat my expectations. Thanks Only improvement I would suggest is response/actions to the requests placed via phone. I had to do multiple follow up at couple of instances."

"The service was exemplary! The food was consistently excellent! Especially at the Chap Chaay and Above Sea Level restaurants. If anything the property is starting to look a little dated and needs maintaining .. the carpet in the room was stained and old but didn’t bother me that much. Overall I would stay here again."

"Modern hotel with lovely rooms and friendly staff. The communal areas and rooms are beautifully modern, with stylish, comfortable decor. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which made our stay enjoyable. The room was very comfortable and a great place to relax, with lovely bed linen and a fresh modern feel. The rooftop pool was also a highlight, with comfortable loungers and a fantastic view from the top floor. Unfortunately, the Soma Lounge was a little disappointing. On two out of the three nights of our stay, there were insects on the plates of food at the buffet, which was quite off-putting. I did bring this to the hotel’s attention on two occasions, but unfortunately, they didn’t seem particularly bothered and I didn’t feel like anyone was going to take steps to address the underlying issue. Overall, the hotel has a lot going for it, particularly its modern design, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and lovely rooftop pool."
