「Near to the beach」

「Situated right at the main street, thus very very loud (troughout the whole night). It was hard to get some sleep! Bed sheet with some stains and charcoal is used as room odour which is pretty weird for us as Europeans」

「Excellent hotel! Conveniently located to Kuala Besut Jeti to plan a day trip to the islands! 」

「I didnt check in. From outside, the hotel looks so scary and horrible. Poor maintainance. The shoplot is all for rent/sale. Only 1 car outside the hotel. 」

「I would say this was with the cost for sure, but you get what you pay for. There was no sink in the bathroom and the toilet sprayer kept falling off. So it was worth it for the price tag but certainly not anything fancy. 」

「I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent. Don’t go expecting a 5 star experience, but this hotel has a rustic charm, the room was nice and clean and the pool is a good size. It’s peaceful and exudes chilled...
