Excellent Stay…secluded and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was quite and beautiful. Beds were comfortable (but might want to bring your own pillow). Fairly close to Smoking Mountains entrance and Waynesville had some great restaurants. Great experience!

Large, relaxing Smokey Mountain cabin.

Spring break, 3-night stay., 4 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of space for everyone. Kids loved the bunk beds, and adults had privacy in the comfortable bedrooms. The game room was great for the rainy day we had. New appliances, soaps, washer/dryer, firewood, charcoal grill and all the extras made the stay easy and enjoyable. Large variety of cooking spices available were a huge plus. Firepit with sturdy lawn chairs and mountain views along with the hot tub room with sauna/shower, and blue tooth audio was extremely relaxing. Some ants made their way onto the counter tops, but a little bug spray kept them away. Hiking, grocery shopping, and other activities weren't far away.

Not what I pictured.

The cabin itself was nice, but nowhere in the description does it mention that the hot tub and sauna are in a separate area 76 steps straight up a mountain. You get that information when you get the email prior to check in. At that point it's too late to cancel.

Such a wonderful week in Waynesville, NC! The house was perfect! The perfect size & location! Perfectly outfitted with everything we needed! Perfect hot tub, sauna and fire pit! The property manager was AWESOME! Responded quickly to our questions; very very helpful! Plan to book again!

Perfect Cabin for a Thanksgiving Family!

We treated our children and grandchildren to a Thanksgiving week retreat in this lovely home. There were plenty of sleeping accommodations for everyone. The cozy living room with the fireplace, the hot tub and sauna up the hill, and the game room were big hits! The big, red bathtub was so nice for soaking. The game room was a favorite with the old school arcade game and huge TV for watching football and World Cup soccer. Wi-Fi was outstanding! The kitchen had most everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving feast. We all had a blast making smores over the firepit in the yard! The children loved the goats and chickens. Our granddaughters begged for us to stay!

Excellent stay

Everything about this cabin is perfect. The location is convenient to a lot of attractions. In this time of COVID we found it especially clean and safe. The owners are really helpful and the goats and chickens were fun to wncounter. The cabin already had a lot of the essentials like enough towels, comfortable (not scratchy) sheets, hangers!!! For the closets, soaps, etc. I brought a lot of that stuff with us since most vacation rentals usually claim to provide but don’t. The space was perfect for a family of five but could easily accommodate a little larger. The hot tub view is, as you can see in the photos, excellent. This cabin was perfect for our needs and we will definitely be back.

Awesome Mountain Cabin!

We stayed for 2 weeks in Aug 2020 and had an amazing time. The house is very comfortable and fairly spacious. We loved the private spa with sauna and jacuzzi, and the front porch with the swing. The house is conveniently located to access several day trip spots: Great Smoky Mountains National Park, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Lake Junaluska, Asheville, etc. The host Max was very friendly and keen to help us with anything we needed - he did not cut corners to help us. And having him next door was great and very convenient. I will definitely go back to this house if we ever find ourselves in the region again.

Perfect Getaway

Looking for a great cabin to get away from the city life, book this one! It's only 25-30 away from the ski resort and 15 mins away from the grocery store. Not only is the location superb, Max and Ally are the best. They left us a welcome box with wine, breakfast items, and honey from their own honey farm. Even though we had trouble with a bathroom and the sauna, they responded to the text messages quickly and helped resolve the problem. My friend from Canada even left an item, and they shipped it back it him! Great customer service and a beautiful home with an amazing jacuzzi to come back to after the slopes!! 👍 Thanks again Ally and Max for the opportunity to stay at a beautiful place! We'll be back!
