Nestled atop Allen Lake and situated in Cherry Log (population 120!) between the charming towns of Blue Ridge and Ellijay in the North Georgia mountains, it's almost impossible not to relax into the tranquil atmosphere of our Lakeside 'Treehouse'.

Open the door to this quaint cabin and you realize every inch has been carefully and professionally decorated - from the stunningly gorgeous vaulted ceiling and richly polished tree-trunk coffee table, to the brand new designer kitchen and the luxe bedroom suites, each space is more beautiful than the next! The open floorplan starts with a decadently cozy living area and romantic fireplace hearth – complimentary firewood and flat screen smart TV provided! But, you can also enjoy the fire from the formal dining area, which seats 6, or from the kitchen island counter, which seats 3 and is the perfect perch at the heart of this home!

In the kitchen, the immaculate stainless steel appliances and the woodland view make every meal prep a pleasure. You will want to grab your first mug of morning coffee and head out onto the deck though – to watch the mist rise off Lake Allen to reveal the memorable tree-filled vista!

The first-floor king is just off the main living area and decorated with hints of spring in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Two additional suites are upstairs, with crisp fall and warm winter palettes. The first spacious bedroom has a king bed with its own full bathroom, and the 2nd main bedroom suite boasts a cozy king bed and flatscreen TV. Attached to that is the main bathroom with his and hers sinks and a frame-less walk-in shower.

OUTDOORS:

The truth? You'll be spending as much time as you can on the huge wrap-around deck, enjoying every moment of the lake! Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon game of chess - in any kind of weather, or escape to the soothing hot tub and revel in the view.

Later on you can head out to the picturesque firepit and stargaze while your dinner sizzles on the 5-burner grill (propane included). Perfection!

AROUND TOWN:

Although you won't want to leave your “little slice of heaven”, there's no shortage of activities in this wonderful area. Ellijay and Blue Ridge are both incredible small towns with antique shops, taverns, breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, and more. There's truly something for everyone in these beautiful mountain communities. Tour the award-winning vineyards (Engelheim, Ellijay River, Cartecay, Serenberry) or all the surrounding breweries and orchards like Mercier Apple Orchard. Visit Fall Branch Falls or bask on the water with plenty of tubing, fishing or boating. Maybe cross that water over the famous Toccoa Swinging Bridge! Conquer the mountains on breathtaking hiking and mountain biking trails. And seasonally, enjoy the Blue Ridge Railway, local festivals and other activities. Feel free to drop us a message when you've got your dates booked and we can let you know what's happening during your stay. And just a note, you can't take a trip to Cherry Log without dropping by The Pink Pig - our favorite spot for BBQ – or the Bigfoot Experience – both just down the road!

The walk down to the lake is steep, but worth it! Waiting for you is a restful bench, or an adorable rowboat. And the fishing is great!

Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out.


After each guest, we thoroughly clean the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.

Cancel 30+ days before arrival: 100% refund (minus Processing Fee)

Cancel 14+ days before arrival: 50% refund (minus Processing Fee)

Cancel fewer than 14 days before arrival: No refund

A non-refundable 4% Processing Fee applies to all reservations and is not returned in the event of cancellation.

★HOUSE RULES★

This property requires a separate rental agreement to be reviewed and signed after booking. A link to the full agreement will be sent through the Airbnb message thread in your booking confirmation. It includes guest and property details, stay dates, fees, house rules (e.g., no parties, no smoking, pet rules), cancellation terms, and guest/host responsibilities. Please note that check-in instructions will only be released after the rental agreement is signed.

☞︎ No smoking is allowed (including vaping) anywhere on the property. If you smoke inside the home you will be charged $500. You will be charged an increase in a cleaning fee, and you will be charged for any damages.

☞︎ Person booking and checking in must be at least 25 years old to reserve and must occupy the rental property throughout the whole stay.

☞︎ No parties or events are allowed at Lakeside Treehouse. We are located in a residential community and, although this is a vacation destination, this area is predominantly families and nature-loving groups. This is doubtless part of its appeal to you too! Between the hours of 10pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.

☞︎ No pets allowed. We love our furries as much as you, but no pets are allowed due to allergies. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $250 and you will be asked to leave.

☞︎ Maximum occupancy of 6 people. Off-site visitors are not permitted without prior permission and are subject to a $100 fee per extra guest.

☞︎ Please do not adjust hot tub temperature above 104 degrees and please return to 80 degrees before departing.

☞︎ Fireplaces cannot be used between April 1 and September 30. Use of the fireplace during this time will result in a $250 fine. Be sure the flue is open. Please extniguish the fire and close the screen before leaving the home or going to bed. Turn off gas logs (if applicable), but leave the pilot light on. Do not move the gas logs in the fireplace. NEVER LEAVE A FIRE UNATTENDED WHEN LEAVING THE HOME OR GOING TO BED.

☞︎ We follow our stated cancellation policies under all circumstances. We highly recommend guests purchase travel insurance to cover weather related issues (tropical storms, hurricanes, etc.) and illnesses that may arise and interrupt travel.

☞︎ We have environmentally friendly plumbing. Please- NO grease, no flushable wipes, and no food down the sink drain. DO NOT REMOVE WIRE MESH food catcher in the sink while in use. There is no disposal, and this mesh will protect the community's plumbing.

☞︎PLEASE do not place loose garbage in the outdoor garbage can. Our garbage service will not collect our garbage unless it is bagged and tied off. You can feel free to use the indoor garbage can, which our cleaners will remove when cleaning the unit. Or if you would like to take the garbage to the outside can, please ensure it is properly bagged (extra bags are located under the kitchen sink) and tied off. After placing it in the outdoor garbage can, please be sure the lid is secured to keep our wildlife from gaining access. Thank you!

☞︎ You give permission to the host to use a third-party to screen your identity and check criminal databases to confirm your reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided upon request. You may receive an email to complete your screening. ☞︎ If an item is left behind, we're happy to help return it. A $75 flat fee applies to locate, package, and ship forgotten items within the continental U.S. Payment is required before the item is shipped. Additional fees may apply for oversized, heavy, or expedited shipments. Items not requested within 14 days may be donated or discarded at our discretion.

☞︎Unapproved late checkouts may result in a $50 fee per hour (or partial hour) past the scheduled checkout time. If the delay interferes with the cleaning schedule or the next guest's arrival, additional charges may apply.
