Nice stay in North Georgia

We’ve stayed in a lot of cabins throughout the Smokies and north Georgia mountains and Fishful Thinking ranks with the best. Nicely situated and well stocked with thoughtful amenities, this is a sweet little cabin that is conveniently located and just the right size for a quick getaway. Highly recommended!

Perfect get away cabin!!

We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary at Fishful Thinking and had the most relaxing time. From hanging out around the fire pit to cozied up on the couch, it was perfect! Cabin had everything thing you need.

LOVE this place!

Beautiful cabin, great location, cozy feel. We took the short drive up to the mountains for the weekend, just my husband, my pup and I, for a little quiet getaway and it was just what I needed! We spent the day shopping and drinking local beer and wine in Blue Ridge and relaxed by the firepit by night! Can’t wait to go back!

Great stay

We have been coming to this area for years. Our previous VRBO selection had been sold so we found this cabin. Well stocked and well kept. First time we actually had bear encounters which was exciting. We will return.

Fall getaway

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Fishful Thinking cabin, it is perfectly located, it feels secluded but you are only minutes away attractions, restaurants. We have found our new getaway and plan to return as soon as possible. We have already recommended to our friends and family.

Great cabin

My wife and I go to Cherry log a few times a year. Our "usual" cabin was sold. Although still a VRBO we thought we would look around for a newer cabin. This cabin is well stocked. Easy (as far as cabin go) to access, clean and plenty of "extras". Great place.

Perfect Fathers Day

Our Father's Day weekend at a cabin in North Georgia was wonderfully relaxing and exactly what we needed. The cabin nestled amidst serene woods provided a perfect escape, and fishing at the nearby toccoa river added an extra layer of enjoyment. 2nd Trip!

Perfect little cabin

We found a perfect little cabin on Cherry log mountain. It was modern, finished with beautiful wood inside and out, very comfortable throughout, we decorated and appointed with everything we needed. Fishfull Thinking was our perfect place in the woods. We’ll be back!

We loved everything about this cabin! The owners really have put a lot of thought into all the details to make your stay comfortable. It was very clean and perfect for a couples getaway or a place to bring your family. The location is perfect to visit nearby attractions in Blue ridge and Elijay. We will definitely be back! Lovely Cabin

Perfect little cabin. They thought of everything. Kitchen was well stocked, beds and all furniture were very comfortable, and loved all the chargers in each room! Just be careful as road is narrow, steep and twisting. Minivan made it up but would have brought the SUV for more piece of mind.

Cozy Cabin in the Perfect Location

Our stay was more than we could've ever hoped for! The cabin was the perfect size for a weekend getaway for my husband and I. The cabin is 10-15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and 15 minutes to downtown Ellijay! There are several wineries and things to do around the cabin as well. The cabin was clean, the owners thought of every detail when furnishing and providing everything in the cabin, and Vacasa's customer service was amazing as well! I cannot recommend this cabin enough! We are already planning our next trip!

Quiet and relaxing outside. Clean and comfortable inside.

You could smell the new wood in this clean cabin as soon as we walked in. The recliners and beds were very comfortable. Unlike where we live, it was very quiet sitting outside with no noise from jet planes, trains, or autos.They had everything we needed for cooking including spices.Looking forward to going back to finish reading their book about trout fishing and actually fishing in a trout stream that I located nearby

Clean, adorable, secluded.

We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin! The cabin was spotlessly clean, and there were no stains, fur, or smell as expected with pet-friendly places. The home was well stocked with supplies for bathroom, kitchen, grill, firepit, and pets. All furniture was extremely comfortable. Such a quiet and peaceful place nested on the mountain with no view or noise from surrounding neighbors. The only negative-the drive up would not be suitable for a sedan, but was no problem in my small SUV. Will definitely book again for my next trip to Blue Ridge!

We loved everything about this cabin!!!!! If you are looking for a quiet beautiful cozy place to rent, THIS IS IT!!!!! Not to mention how clean it was and everything was labeled!! I cannot speak how highly I would recommend this cabin!!!! It was perfect location! 10 miles from Blue Ridge and Elijah! We visited Dahlonega while we were there and that is a MUST! Also, make reservation for Ferraro’s Italian! Bigfoot Biscuit was heavenly for breakfast and Harvest on Main was great, too! Everything was perfect! Cannot WAIT to go back! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for sharing your place!!

Awesome!

The weekend at Fishful Thinking was a girls trip with lifetime friends. It was the perfect spot. We each needed time away from families and careers and the trip was very relaxing. Exceeded our expectations. Comfortable beds, sheets, pillows. Snacks provided. Wood for fire pit which was amazing. Everything new and clean. The location was perfect just a short drive to Blue Ridge and also to Elijah. Owners are attentive and responsive looking for ways to enhance our stay. Try it. You won’t regret it!

Delightful Weekend Getaway

This place is the real deal, first and foremost it’s “CLEAN” extremely clean, it was our first time here and we will definitely go back, this place has everything and I mean everything the only items that you will need are toiletries and food everything else is already there and did I mention how clean the place was, you have 3 massive TVs, grill, kitchen is well stocked, phone chargers, blankets, washing pods (clothes/dishes) instructions on how to use everything. I will say this you will have to bring a fire log to start the fire pit outside but the wood is already there, oh and coffee/creamer other than that enjoy your weekend!

Birthday Weekend

Perfect weekend in the mountains with my wife and kids celebrating my birthday. The cabin had everything we needed and more than we expected. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could think of including an air fryer. We spent most of the weekend grilling and hanging out around the fire pit. The location was so peaceful and quiet I could have easily fallen asleep in the hammock. The kids loved that there were tvs in every room that included almost any streaming service you could think of. WiFi was also extremely fast. We’re looking forward to our next trip to Fishful Thinking!
