“The cabin was perfect for what we needed. Peter & Bernadette were wonderful to work with and great hosts! We were sad that we didn’t get to utilize all the amenities & nature the cabin had to offer because our schedule did not allow. But, we did enjoy the time we were able to spend at the cabin. The Memory Book and just the feel of the cabin gave us some nostalgia for my husband’s family’s cottage in No. Michigan❤️ Things to note- we had issues with cell service. We were able to text and……

“Nice cabin to relax and escape to. There’s a few trails around and the towns around have everything you need. The owner of the property was super helpful and always responded immediately. Very easy to communicate with. It snowed while we were up there which was absolutely beautiful being surrounded by trees. There was a smell coming up through the drains from the sewage but we had a candle in the bathroom and the kitchen which was perfect so not to bad. We had told Revi about it and she wanted……

“Beautiful property that offers a unique experience of staying in a log house. The fire stove provided more than enough warmth to the entire house. The additional propane heater is also there in case we did not want to keep the fire stove going all the time. Shower cubicle is really small for a guy like me (I am 6 feet 2 inches tall), but I was still able to manage take showers.”

“We ended up not staying. The description says it is a cabin, it is an old manufactured home (mobile home). When we pulled in there was items scattered around the yard, the grass hadn’t been mowed. When we got to the first step the wood need to be replaced. There were holes in the soffit. Once inside the couches looked old and dingy. The inside needed to be spruced up. “My cousin and i enjoyed our stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen. The front stairs were quite daunting! Getting to the front door with our bags took great effort. It did not diminish our enjoyment of the space but i would caution seniors (like us!) And anyone else with mobility or balance issues.”
