“This rustic cabin is beautiful and comfortable, with gorgeous views of the lake. It has everything you need, right down to salt and pepper, travel-size soap / shampoo etc. Lots of games and books, plus good Wifi and tv (including over the air tv and Hulu access if you have a subscription). We loved the fireplace inside and the firepit outside (you need to provide your own wood but it's for sale at multiple places nearby). It's so quiet, it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere! “Our family had the best time at the cabin. The kids swam and fished in the lake while the adults enjoyed watching them and the scenery from the shore. The cabin felt private yet we were close enough to Bar Harbor.”

“This camp was great. The screened in porch had an amazing view of the pond. If it had been a touch warmer we would have had our dinners out on porch. But it was lovely to sit out on and watch the ducks. The kitchen had everything needed and more! Lots of dinnerware, cookware, and utensils. The property owner was very helpful. Lots of good information about the camp and area. She gave us some time to get our stuff in and get settled a bit before she visited. The location was just the right amount……

“What a charming place!!! We rented 7 of their 12 Cottages and Motel Units and had a wonderful week! They provide everything you'd expect PLUS more like Wood/Lighters and Fire starters - or a propane gas firepit if you prefer. Plenty of outdoor space!! The motel units are JUST as spacious and charming as the stand alone cottages - each is well Appointed and remodeled so nicely! Comfy beds, luxurious bedding and well stocked kitchen - we cooked all week! Location is perfect just between Bar Harbor……

“This is our second stay. When they say 1 step above camping that is misleading. By that I mean, if you have camped, this is 20 steps above camping. You have a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. It has a screened porch, a deck and right on the pond. There are lights and outlets to charge phones and there is service for phones! This is better quality then most hotels for the money with the exception of no running water and outside (clean) bathroom. So, if you see this and you are……
