“We were driving from the UK to the south west of France and wanted somewhere to stay en route. What a wonderful surprise this place was. The house is a big, beautiful, old (really old!) property with very generous rooms and lovely ensuite bathrooms. The hosts are very welcoming and generous. Saintes - who knows why that big town is not more widely known as a tourist destination. Incredible architecture, lovely river walks, greta places to eat. And the best bit - we have 2 large excitable dogs……

“Accueil chaleureux, dîner savoureux avec des produits locaux, petit-déjeuner au top et literie d’excellente qualité. Rien à redire, tout était impeccable. Une adresse à recommander sans hésiter !”

“Suite à une incompréhension, visiblement entre l’hébergeur et le loueur, je n’ai pas pu accéder à l’établissement car le prix n’était pas celui qu’espérait l’établissement concerné. Je me suis donc retrouvé sans Logement pour le soir à la recherche d’une nouvelle solution. Je ne peux donc pas évaluer positivement ce bien car je n’ai pas pu en profiter. ”

“De passage à Saintes, nous avons passé une nuit sur place. Très calme pour bien dormir. Très bon accueil à l’arrivée. Le petit déjeuner dans le jardin le matin c’est au top, notre hôte a été aux petits soins, c’était très agréable. Nous n’hésiterons pas à reprendre une nuit à l’occasion.”

“It was charming and welcoming, among fields and vines, next to a wood with pleasant walks. The swimming pool was much welcomed and used. Inside and outside comfortable tables, chairs and seats. Well stocked and easy to use kitchen and barbecue areas. Comfortable bedrooms with plenty of bedding, storage and fans if needed. ”
