“My wife and I wanted a quick get away in the Berkshires with our dog and this property couldn't have been more perfect. The house was wonderful, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed from towels, to kitchen utensils and appliances, to smart TVs. The location is set back in the woods in an already very quiet town, giving plenty of peace, quiet, and privacy. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay. This was not our usual VRBO choice, but it looked interesting and it proved to be a fabulous experience. It is full of musical instruments, a stage with lights and a real disco ball! “Selected this authentic 1860s home to share with my photographer daughter who has never been to New England, where I grew up. The house and neighborhood was excellent for Fall photography. ”

“The host was exceptional and so kind. The location was in close proximity to 3 quaint New England small towns whose downtowns had many restaurants and local shops to enjoy-Great Barrington (GB Eats for breakfast), Stockbridge (best shopping) and Lenox (exceptional dinner at Frankie’s Italian). The house looked updated on the outside but inside looked like early 1900s with a hint of Victorian influence. My only caution is for anyone with mobility issues as all 3 bedrooms and the only (very small)……

“This was the best rental apartment I've stayed at and definitely the cleanest. Check-in is easy, the pictures are accurate, the kitchen and bathroom are great, and the location in downtown Northampton is super walkable to cafes, shops, Smith, etc. If I'm ever back anywhere near the area, I will definitely try to stay there again. 10/10”

It was a hot, muggy weekend but there were 2 window units and extra fans to keep us comfortable. The house is well-appointed—we had a busy schedule and were sad we didn't have a chance to use the lovely outdoor fire pit area. Good communication after a minor mixup. Would definitely stay again!”
