I checked in and have never felt less welcome in a hotel. The lobby space was dingy and sad. Then the hallway on the third floor leading to my room stank of cigarettes and looked about as creepy as the shining, and it was afternoon. The room itself was pitch black when I entered, the blackout curtains drawn, and even with the front door light on it was so dark that I bumped into a coffee table I couldn't see, and finally reached the window to let in some light. The room also smelled of cigarettes, and there was a hair on the pillow. None of this would have mattered to me at $94 a night, but then at 3am some jerks a few rooms away got home from the bars I guess, and I was subjected to pumping bass from that time until 8:45 am, when my 4th call to the front desk finally put something in motion that got it to stop, so I could get a 20 minute cat nap. The front desk (2 different people) was neither effective nor helpful for the most part, and I ended up spending the second prepaid night through Expedia on a friend's futon and got such better sleep. I want a full refund, and neither Expedia nor the hotel seem to want to cooperate.

Well it's not a five-star hotel but then again they don't claim to be a five-star hotel. All in all things were pretty good it is outdated and although I searched everything with my flashlight for bed bugs and did not find a dead one or a live one. Everything functioned like it's supposed to but some fresh paint and maybe shampooing some carpets would be a large improvement towards the musty smell and overall cleanliness. I'm sure you could find a cleaner more updated hotel somewhere but for the price I got a good night sleep for the one night I was passing through. Especially on Labor Day weekend.

Knowing that I chose a lower cost room I understand the expectations should not be a Hilton. The grounds were overgrown and when we were leaving there was no one at the front desk. There were holes in the carpet, wall Paper coming off the walls and our bed had three “throw” pillows, but again I understand at least a place to sleep.

Wi-fi password changed at midnight, so had to go to front desk in the morning to get the new password. Window curtain was hanging loose at top. Didn't affect night time lighting, but looked bad. Front desk and cleaning lady were nice and helpful. Very accommodating since I had to switch rooms twice. Once for tv not working and second due to overpowering air freshener smell in the room. Rooms are outdated. TV’s definitely need updating. Disappointed that their pool has been out of service. Bedding and sheets were clean and comfortable.
