The hotel was very well kept, clean, comfortable, and offered and safe, friendly ambiance. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathrooms were nice. I will definitely come back next time I visit Bacalar.

Nice vibe

The team is super nice and attentive. The hotel is well maintained and has what’s needed. The location is great, close to the lagoon and a lot of restaurants right around the corner. You gotta be aware they have a few dogs and cats (very well groomed) living on the property,

Amazing staff — so friendly and helpful. Beautifully modern decorated room (rain shower, big smart tv, power outlets and switches on both sides of a pillowed king bed). We can’t recommend this plaice highly enough. A true gem!!

Wonderful visit to Bacalar

My friend and I took a day trip to Bacalar. The concierge/front desk staff Aldair was extremely sweet, knowledgeable and helped us set up excursions and recommendations even though it was a shorter trip. The rooms were nice and recently renovated, the grounds were spotless and we felt safe and secure the entire stay. If you are going to Bacalar, Casa Chukum is the way to go. 5 stars all the way.

Amazing stay at Casa Chukum

Absolutely loved our stay at Casa Chukum, this place made our trip to Bacalar. The staff could not do anymore for you, excellent service around the hotel and great recommendations! The place has such a lovely family feel with chilled vibes, loved the dogs and cats. The staff really went out of their way to add personal touches to our stay. Rooms are immaculate and well equipped, would also really recommend the breakfast. Thank you to Deborah and her team for such a wonderful experience! I hope that we will be able to visit again.

From the moment you arrive you have become part of a family. Owners and staff are super friendly and kind and there are many stories to be told. As a senior I would have liked to see a grab bar in the shower, there was nothing to hold on to. The shower is strictly overhead, bring a shower cap if you want to keep your hair dry. Another essential item is a flashlight, the rooms are a bit on the dark side.

Parfait

Petit hôtel dans le centre de Bacalar décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Chambre propre avec une literie très confortable. La piscine et le jardin dans laquelle elle se trouve sont enchanteurs. Avec ça, un petit déjeuner copieux pour vraiment pas cher. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel et le recommandons vivement.

I really adored both Bacalar and this hotel. The design is so wild and whimsical, the staff are so sweet and helpful, the beds are nice and comfy and the location is perfect. Great coffee and’s food with in a block and right by an entrance to the lagoon. Also really loved the hotels very sweet furballs!

La propiedad se ofrece con estacionamiento, el cual no tienen y uno se estaciona en la calle, si bien no le ocurrió absolutamente nada al auto, se agradecía especifiquen esto, la atención de Emmanuel muy cordial y amable, a la propiedad le hace falta mantenimiento y limpieza, cuando realizan el servicio a la habitación, únicamente tienden la cama, se venden como hotel boutique y no proporcionan esta comodidad, ponen cafetera pero sin café, vasos y una jarra pero uno debe ir al lobby por el agua, las amenidades son de la calidad más básica.

La habitación en donde me hospede me encanto, amplio, todo ordenado y limpio, la zona del patio es muy acogedora y el personal que me atendió durante mi estadía super amable, preguntando si me interesaba algún sitio o actividad y dándome sugerencias a donde podría ir. Joli hôtel sans trop de chambres

Hôtel sympa à Bacalar avec un personnel aux petits soins et des chats et chiens trop mignons Très propre et très bonne douche avec tous les produits de toilettes shampooing après shampooing gel douche savon et lait corporel. Ils veulent vraiment vous faire sentir chez vous. Debbie a réussi à m’organiser une visite au site de Chacchoben car contrairement à ce qui est écrit dans le Lonely Planète impossible de visiter ce site depuis Bacalar si vous n’êtes pas motorisé Elle organise également une sortie sur la lagune avec son pontoon et son père nous a déposés à la gare routière. Je vous recommande Mr tacos pour les déjeuners pas cher et hyper bon Par contre pas trop de choix de restaurants dans Bacalar à moins que vous vouliez manger des pizzas. Le Mistura est bon et pas trop cher. Tout y est bien plus cher par rapport à playa del carmen ou Tulum Il y fait aussi bien plus humide et chaud

Nice and comfortable! The room was excellent even with a Netflix account! Great location: a few blocks to the Fuerte de San Felipe and a few blocks to the Ecoparque Bacalar, where you can walk on a wooden pier and swim. Friendly staff!
