“We were happy with this property. The basics were good: large comfy beds, decent showers, good living room and dining area, good a/c (much appreciated in the summer heat), big yard (with antlered deer!) and attached small playground, kitchen with adequate utensils/dishes/pots, quiet street and area. The owner was pleasant and responsive. Some of the “touches” needed work: very small kitchen, refrigerator was in the entry room and leaked water periodically, LR rug was stained, inadequate……

“Clean room. Quiet.”

“Communicate with the owner first, make sure you pay for parking if needed”

“This was such a cute place to stay! It was perfect for my family and me. We drove some and used Uber when needed, which made getting around easy. Washington, D.C. is such a beautiful city with so many things to see and do. We hope to come back again someday. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish you all the best!”

“We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully fully renovated 1800s carriage house. The property seamlessly blends historic charm with high-end modern luxury, and it was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The amenities provided were fantastic and made our stay incredibly comfortable. One of the biggest highlights is the location—it is an easy 2-minute walk to shopping and groceries, making it incredibly convenient. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!”

“When looking at potential properties I always read the recent previous reviews on a curve. From now on this property has now changed that for me going forward. There was excellent communication from the property manager leading up to check-in. I glanced over the first red flag comment when the manager stated “The blinds aren’t broken, they’re just bent”. They were correct, they weren’t functionally broken, but every single mini blind had broken OR missing slats, they should’ve been trashed.……

“Everybody was impressed with Zach and Kate’s place. •Great signage throughout the place.•Lots of space for the 9 of us. •Easy check-in•Amazing water pressure for showers •The place was stocked with all possible items needed. •Short walk to Columbia Heights MetroThank you for the stay!”

“From the moment I booked, the communication was amazing. Check in was so easy. The place was very clean and very cozy! The cookies on arrival with water was so sweet. The parking pass was an added bonus! I would recommend this place 100%!!!!! I ended up staying an extra night and the communication involved in the whole process was so speedy!”

“House was everything we needed for our trip. Good location just outside the city and easy spot to get transportation or ride shares. Host communicated very well and had no issues.”

“Wonderful home in a nice neighborhood near metro and great restaurants. Worked well for my family. Owners were responsive with AC malfunction. Great kitchen- well stocked and modern bathrooms. We will come back!”

“Great location, wonderful host. We will be back.”

“The property was as stated, the host had things set up nicely with extra kitchen supplies. The host was very communicative and helpful.”

“We shared the house with extended family for a week, and it worked out well for us (4 parents, 2 teens, & 4 kids age 3-11). Everything was clean, and there was enough space for individuals to separate from the group when they needed some quiet time. The shower in the basement was wonderful, and there was plenty of hot water for both bathrooms at the same time, even for multiple showers in succession. A couple things to be aware of: the kitchen appliances are great, but the pots/pans available……

“Perfect. Wonderful just, location, amenities, cleanliness, locale. When we are back in town with family or friends we will not bother to look anywhere else. THANk YOU!”

“This house was even better than the description! 12 of us stayed there and there was room galore. It was clean, modern and roomy. James, our host, was responsive and caring. We were truly blessed to have stayed there.”
