Staff was friendly at check in! If you want “modern” facilities this isn’t that, the pillows are pretty flat and the air conditioner was a little musty smelling. Rooming on the second floor is an awkward set of steep steps at the end of the building. BUT for the price it was good. If you love trains or have little ones who love trains this is a great place to watch them move. There is also a wandering sidewalk that goes along the roadside which was nice for a night walk after driving for 10 hours. The Mexican restaurant next door was wonderful and although we only stayed one night we will again if we pass through. All in all a good experience if you are looking for a reasonably priced place to lay your head.

The fish tank was so cool! Enjoyed seeing it. Staff were very nice. Room smelled of heavy cleaner. Curtains were filthy. Paid for a room with 2 queens and got a room with 1 double & 1 queen.

Not friendly. Not expecting to hear politics during the checkin process. I get enough of that literally everywhere else. Ugh. Can’t afford to be rude when you are running an old rundown motel. Skip this one. Not worth the cheap rate.

The cleanliness was good, however, many things are outdated. The curtains have holes, and the rooms smell old. Everything was great otherwise.

We appreciated the functional aspect of our stay. The staff was excellent in their behavior and very courteous. The room was clean the water hot and microwave and refrigerator worked well. Coffee was fresh food simple but filling. We will make an attempt to visit again.

Very nice and clean. Great price! No elevator, but friendly employee offered to help us take our luggage upstairs. There is a train in back of the hotel. I heard it once loud before going to bed, but was not bothered by it the rest of the time we were there. Employees are very helpful. I would stay there again.

This property is older but has a very nice atmosphere. Very clean and the Staff are very helpful and accommodating . Zuess was very kind and made sure we had a very accessible room that was easy to get to since my sister was staying after having back surgery. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hallway smelled so awful. The elevator was broken. Expedia, advertised a pool, which there hadn’t been one in over a year. Called Expedia to complain and they sent the manager to speak with me. It was Expedia’s false advertising, not the hotel. The staff was very friendly.
