Booking a stay at this property was an absolute mistake. I have stayed at numerous star properties but never have I ever experienced such indifferent attitude and total lack of hospitality at a hotel. The hotel is an adhoc dhaba let alone a star hotel. The bathroom shower broke and my child slipped and got hurt on the first day.The breakfast arrangements were absolutely pathetic with poor food quality and poor layout. It seemed as if no one was interested in paying heed to guest’s requirements. At first we were told the gum is open from morning till evening 1900 hrs but next day when I went during those hours it was closed. After so much efforts it was opened by an attendent but to my horror neither did the ac work and nor were there any arrangements for drinking water, music or towels etc. I wonder how they are managing this property. The swimming pool had construction work going around with the labourers staring at the guests which was impeding their privacy. I had booked the hotel for three nights but owing to such bitter experiences, checked out after the first night itself. After I checked out I was promised that I will be charged for one night and money for balance three nights will be refunded however its been four days and I am yet to hear from the property manager or his team about initiating a refund.
All in all this was a pure disaster.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights in December. We found the hotel and rooms to be clean and well-maintained. Food service (dinner and breakfast) were offered buffet style with a variety of Indian and chinese selections. The food was good, but not out of this world. The omelette station at breakfast was excellent as was the cook. The room sizes were perfect, although we spent little time in the rooms other than to sleep. The only drawback to this property was the relatively slow chec-in process which took more than half an hour for the 5 of us (two nationals and 3 foreigners). Such a slow check-in is understandable at smaller town hotels in India, but not at a major tourist resort area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return again should our journey paths cross. I would add that for the price, this hotel is superior to many other tourist high-end hotels in the area. The pool is huge as are the grounds.

Disliked: Cleanliness
mediocre stay
Room was generally good standard but cleaning could be better although acceptable. Didn't like the music playing in the garden all day long. Waiters were generally attentive and helpful. Noisy and busy when there is a wedding on.
The overall feel is of a bit run down hotel. The food was pretty sad. The breakfast service was really bad. What irked me was that while they had no problems being totally cognisant to the needs of the foreign guests, they ignored the dometic ones. One had to request them to even fill the water glasses. The hotel should not call itself luxury. It’s just a 3 star hotel. On checking for in-room slippers the first response was, it’s to be paid for. That’s not what one expects. Though they finally clarified that we didn’t need to pay for it even though we were fine paying, the experience left a bad taste.

OK hotel, don't expect too much
Comfortable stay but service is not what is expected from a 4 star hotel. Staff are poorly trained but earnest. No alcohol. Rooms are clean but old and not feature rich. Hot water only in the morning. Nice though oddly shaped swimming pool. Overall, OK experience for us - neither bad nor great.

A 4 * hotel does not provide shower caps. Shower is jammed. No news paper. No cover for glasses or the commode being hygeinically cleaned.

An 'OK' Hotel. Can be better
This is a nice hotel. But can be so much more.
The staff is polite, courteous but lacks training. For Value, I'd rate this hotel low as we found other hotels in the vicinity to be better value. It does seem that adequate and timely repairs and maintenance have been missed.
The Positives - Great lawns, Old world charm
To improve - The food, its presentation, trained staff
Basically, an 'OK' hotel. Not a place I'd want to run back to.

Friendly staff but hotel needs renovation
Very helpful and friendly staff, nice swimming pool and the surrounding area (garden) but the hotel needs refurbishment - bathroom and bedroom are really outdated, it looks like the time stopped there in 70s.
Beautiful lobby and outdoor seating offer a feeling of luxury. Rooms are comfortable with nice views. The exercise room is well equipped, but tucked away in the basement spa. Massages were great. Previous Expedia comments are critical of the dining service. Part of this may be due to the buffet settings for group tours, where it is hard to keep food hot. It seems these options were mild, which makes sense for foreign guests. We weren't disappointed when ordering off the menu. They prepared dishes according to our liking, spicy for me and mild for my wife. The hotel staff was excellent, always friendly and welcoming, and always offering a greeting of Namaste. The hotel gardener gave us a tour of his herb garden and orchard, which provides fresh food for the dining room. The staff also work very hard, and I would suggest a few more staff would be helpful. With a full house, it was difficult to keep the pool area picked up. Front desk was extremely helpful, but gave us wrong time for Sound and Light show. When outside the hotel, we were constantly hassled for tips for every bit of services, but there was no such pressure in the hotel. I have mixed feelings whether this would be a good location for families. The large green area is a plus, but there is no shallow section in the pool (4.5 meters uniform). The bottom line is that we had a wonderful stay.
We stayed here 2 nights. Overall, nice stay spot. Receptioner told me much information of Khajuraho, which is very helpful. Enjoyed very big hotel and pool. According to them, you can have a tour by their car for 1,000 INR. Breakfast is ok, which is different a little every day.

Colazione decisamente scarsa. Piscina ottima. Struttura datata. L eccellente nei giudizi precedente è troppo
The property in very well located (close from airport and railway station), its clean and well maintained. Food quality is good and all types of cuisines are available.
it was a great experience. the staff was very understanding. other facilities and outer look of the hotel was great. i find it very comfortable and relaxing. the over all view of the hotel has a wow factor. i personally remand this hotel for stay in khajuraho.
IT WAS AMAZING EXPERIENCE TO STAY IN THIS FANTASTIC HOTEL. IT SPREAD 18 ACRE GREENERY.
SWIMMING POOL WAS ALSO VERY CLEAN. FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. STAFF WAS VERY CO-OPREATIVE.
ITS GAVE A ANOTHER REASON TO REMEMBER KHAJURAO.
