"I adored the chill vibe of this place. It packs a lot of modern charm and personality in the small footprint of a midcentury roadside motel. I think what makes this property extra special are the tucked-away patios and garden areas (there are three). These are quiet hangout spots outfitted with lounge furniture, tables and chairs, water fountains, hanging basket chairs, and a ping-pong table. They’ve done an artful job with landscaping: passion fruit vines, olive trees, grasses, and succulents. I love supporting boutique properties like this. Props to the proprietors for preserving and revitalizing a piece of vintage, mid-century Venice!"

"Our experience here was GREAT!!! The building is located directly on Venice Beach Boardwalk!!! When we arrived there was a line and a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it! The lady at the counter (sure wish I got her name) was super friendly! She took the time to get to know us and that it was our 15th wedding anniversary. When we got to our room the code didn’t work. We went down and let her know and she personally came up and fixed the issue. When that door opened the view took my breath away! The room itself is not fancy but has everything we needed. It’s in a great location with partying all around. That being said it is noisy at night which we didn’t mind. They provide ear plugs for a better nights sleep. I would absolutely stay here again! "
