"Our stay at Hotel Vischi was wonderful. The staff were friendly, especially the waiter at breakfast, who also serves at the beach bar. The breakfast itself was lovely, with plenty of fresh options and a terrace setting that made it extra special. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and we also made great use of the free bike hire to explore the area at our own pace. The hotel’s location is good, with restaurants, shops, and the lakeside just a short stroll away, and it’s perfectly placed for visiting nearby villages around Lake Como. The hotel offers warm service, a good breakfast, family-friendly facilities, and thoughtful extras like bike hire, all in a prime spot on the lake. "We loved our four-night stay at B&B Al Carotin. Julio is super friendly and always at hand. The property has balconies overlooking the valley and mountains, and it was so relaxing just to sit out on the balcony, drink in the views, and let your shoulders drop. We took a day trip to Tirano and took the train up to Switzerland, which is the same line as the Bernina Express. We had a couple of very enjoyable days by the lake. We'd love to come back."

"A lovely spot with gorgeous views of Lake Como. In hindsight, I am surprised that some stayed here without a car, as transportation around the lake can be a bit of a challenge. But we found it ideal with our little compact that fit just fine in the cozy garage and easy enough to pop in and out to journey off to the local towns and beyond in our week-long exploration of the area. You certainly are not staying in one of the busy, popular locations when you rent this apartment. But if you like things a bit removed and a bit more peaceful, this is your place."
