Very good value over night stay well placed for city centre. Good continental breakfast and really helpful pleasant staff. Rooms were clean but a little tired. Would certainly stay at this inn again when next in the area.

Well situated for visiting the sights of Chichester. 10 minutes from the Theatre. Property and furniture in need of some tlc. Patches of missing/scuffed paintwork in bedroom but room clean Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast had no hot food. Limited continental. One morning croissants had been overheated - hard and dry.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast had enough choice for me. The beer garden was quiet after 11 and I had no problem sleeping. I have stayed here before and will return again. Thank you.

The condition of the room was dreadful. Tatty, tired, worn, scruffy, grim - not somewhere you would want to spend time and definitely not priced to reflect this. We would have been disappointed had it been half the price. I will say that the cleaning staff did a good job as our room was clean at least and it must be difficult to make a room like this clean. However the duvet cover was torn, the carpet was worn, the paintwork chipped and flaking, bathroom very basic. The whole thing needs ripping out and starting again. I am baffled by the high reviews left by some people - we would never stay here again with it in this state. We were with a group and they all felt the same so it wasn’t just our room. As a continental breakfast it was ok but a cooked option would be nice. Tables way too small for the number of place settings per table. On a positive note the staff member behind the bar who checked us in was very pleasant and the lady running breakfast was great too. And as already mentioned the cleaning staff did well in the circumstances.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we felt really at home in the bar. The coffee was lovely and the breakfast was fine. The room was comfortable and clean but was in need of redecoration.

The room was very basic but I expected that. Cleaning standard was average at best, definitely room for improvement there. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room overlooked beer garden and was quite noisy but quiet from 11ish (Friday night). Room was pretty hot and no fan in there to help. Shower was pretty good, high pressure and plenty of hot water. Towels good quality and decent size Sink in room 8 leaks when emptied and there is a loose floor tile. Beds were ok, curtains in the room very thin and didn't block out any light. Breakfast was ok....nothing special, selection was limited. The whole place needs a bit of general refurbishment and decorating.
