"This house although not in the middle of a tourist centre is absolutely fabulous, bright and airy with plenty of space to enjoy the table football, mini snooker and we saw a table tennis table hiding in the garage waiting for outside weather I guess! The house was warm and Olivier was available to change temperatures remotely without needing to disturb us..... The kitchen is very well equipped and had we been there in the summer we would have enjoyed the pool too! The house was spotlessly clean...

"The drive out into the countryside is well worth the effort. We stayed in the two bedroom gite and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The gite is spacious and has a lovely gravel patio area in front with great views of the countryside. It was warm, so we were able to sit outside for meals, reading and watching nature and the occasional boat passing on the canal. L appartement etant au dernier etage de la maison, il fait chaud pour la nuit bien qu une climatisation mobile est disponible. "We love coming to the area and this house is just wonderful - cool inside when the weather was extra hot. We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D...

"Es war ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub. Haus und Grundstück perfekt, sehr diskrete Gastgeber. Dass die Lage abgelegen ist, wussten wir logischerweise vorher. Wer also viel Tourismus und Rummel sucht ist hier falsch. Aber Erholung, Ruhe, Natur und der nächtliche Sternenhimmel sind garantiert. Alle wichtigen Geschäfte sind im Umkreis von 10km. Im Haus fehlt es an Nichts. Absolut zu empfehlen"

"We had a lovely weeks stay with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-16) The house is well equipped and owners were friendly and helpful. It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. "The photos don’t do the small house justice. The owners are both lovely and go out their way to help you make your stay, the most enjoyable it can be. The views are fabulous and theres no mention of the long and short walks, that start 50m from the property, travelling through the Forrest and finishing at a pub/restaurant 1km from the accommodation."
