Peaceful, dog-friendly home on 3 acres with lovely yard, near beaches

"House was nice, clean, beds comfortable. It’s quite a bit down a one lane dirt road that has no street sign. We went head to head 3 times with cars coming the other way which required backing down the narrow road backwards. Two issues: 1) the mixer valve for the shower works but needs to be replaced; 2) the water has a very metallic taste. Would be nice if there was a gallon jug of water in the refrigerator. Parking space is a bit away though it appears that the driveway used to go up to the house. There is no explanation for not being able to use the driveway next to the house, just a threat that they will fine you if you move the rocks that block the driveway."

"Well - where to begin? Everything about this house was outstanding. We've stayed here before, so we knew what to expect, and of course we were not let down. The house is terrific - very comfortable for families, kids - absolutely outstanding screened in porch where we spent so much time, and ate almost every meal. Everything is comfortable, the beds are excellent and the kitchen well-stocked. In addition, this is an excellent location - especially for families with kids - no need to drive everywhere!There's a playground across the street, (great!) library around the corner, a wonderful sculpture garden/gallery around the corner (my favorite place on the Vineyard!) and a store with almost everything a great takeout place for breakfast and lunch! AND, to top it all, the owners are wonderful - so easy to work, very responsive. I can go on and on, but I think you get the picture!"

"We had a wonderful time. Loved having a family croquet game in the yard which made for a wonderful time. S’mores on the fire pit and time on the deck was amazing. Owner/contractor were both very responsive to repairs. Didn’t know there was a fully stocked coffee bar so we brought our own, but morning family coffee helped make for a wonderful time as well! A wonderful family retreat. No real complaints. The “pocket door” to the powder room perhaps could use another handle. Was a little difficult for some of our seniors, Basement access door to outside made family time outside much easier."

"We had another wonderful stay in Aquinnah! This was our second time renting and was again the perfect place for a family of four and our dog. We love having our morning coffee on the porch, beaches, bike rides, s'mores, stargazing, and the quietness of Aquinnah. Thank you!"

"Wonderful experience! Host was accessible and communicative. The location was peaceful and remote, yet a convenient walk to the beach. We loved sitting out on the deck, watching bunnies and deer in the morning and gazing up at the stars at night. The house was immaculate and provided everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. We would love to return!"
