"We needed a place to sleep and this was the best available. It was OK but nothing has been done to upgrade the facility in years. It was large in size so had plenty of room. There was a super grocery store only about a mile away that had everything---well worth the trip there for special treats!"

"We discovered this hotel while trying to find a place to stay because we were traveling through the area during the Pendleton Roundup (which meant full hotels and high prices). We would totally stay here again. The rooms were clean and plenty spacious, and most of all, it was very affordable. The continental breakfast options were very limited, but it was fine. If you are looking for a place to stay the night and you don't need all the bells and whistles, this is your place."

"This place is awesome! The views off the back patio are great overlooking the valley. Walking out the front door we were able to watch the sunset over mt. Adams. Very private. The house had all the cooking utensils needed as well as coffee. We used the wood-fired sauna and hot tub which was super cool as well as the cold plunge. Everything worked well. Even though this is off the grid it had all the modern amenities you could want. The driveway is gnarly, I don’t know that I would try it without 4WD. Was super cool to sit in the hot tub (no chemicals because it’s filled when you get there from the well) and look at the stars which show up great because there’s no city lights."
