A lovely place to stay and explore places like Cuenca. Great food and lovely breakfast. Although still 30 degrees the swimming pool is seasonal snd not open when we stayed late September. Friendly and helpful staff and tea making facilities in the room

Lovely, peaceful atmosphere
We loved this Parador which has the most beautiful courtyard gardens and a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were polite and friendly. Our only criticism is that we were not told at the time of booking that the swimming pool is open seasonally and will not open this year until around 15th June.

Chinchon
It was difficult to get to the Parador by car as it was a Sunday and some roads were closed due to the volume of visitors. Once we got to the hotel on foot the staff were extremely helpful and we were able to explain the best way to drive in by removing the temporary barriers in the road! An excellent stay overall in a wonderful location.

Really enjoyed the Parador although only stayed one night the Christmas Market really added to the atmosphere. Definately worth a visit.

Fabulous hotel in converted monastery
Utterly amazing hotel in a converted monastery just yards away from one of the prettiest plazas in Spain. The restaurant terrance overlooks the lovely private gardens which lead down to the enormous swimming pool. The whole place reeks of class.

Charming hisrltoric building in the middle of town. Extremelly quiet environment, very relaxing. Staff was very nice and restaurant excellent. I highly recomend for a romantic getaway!

The parador was amazing' well kept yet totally historic feeling. Breakfast was great, and very stylish. We took the tour and we really liked it. The parador located right on Plaza Mayor.

This is a first rate hotel and one of the best paradors we have stayed at.Our criticism relates to the difficulty in finding it by car. Very easy to follow the signage from one direction but not others are some road signs are very misleading. Satnav also didn't seem to help.Staff are all delightful and super helpful

Luxurious hotel in charming town
I absolutely loved everything about this Parador. First of all, the building is beautiful. Our room was spacious, overlooked the courtyard and had a view of Chinchón’s castle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were several parking options nearby and the hotel was located right by the Plaza Mayor. The breakfast was fantastic and WiFi worked great. Hope to go back for a bullfight!

Staying in Chinchon and visit Aranjuez
Very nice Parador in a small and quiet village. Good service and very good food. 30 minutes by car to the beautiful palace of Arranjuez. The weather was great but unfortunately the outside pool was already closed.

Overall a nice hotel with good service and easy access to/from Madrid/Toledo. Recommend eating there and especially the breakfast. That being said, part of the reason for choosing the hotel was their garden and pool facilities. Unfortunately the pool was not filled and the garden could have used a caring hand. As such not a problem, however it was not advised anywhere we could find before booking. We would not have booked if we had known. As we were specifically looking for these facilities, it did make a difference to our experience, which was otherwise nice.

Beautiful hotel and food
The property has loads of character. The room was spacious, brilliant air-conditioning and a great view over the gardens. There is a terrace bar. The service was excellent. We choose to eat in the restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The location is fabulous a few yards from the plaza (a bull ring) loads of local restaurants to enjoy a quiet drink and tapas. Will definitely be coming back

Setting the standard for Paradores
The Parador at Chinchon is definitely one of the best that we have stayed at. It has history and character. The attractive grounds include a terraced garden and swimming pool - though a tad chilly to use in September. Breakfasts are first rate - one of few Paradores offering a cooked breakfast. Would definitely return.

Nice, quiet hotel
Nice quiet hotel right off the main plaza in Chinchon. We were there in the winter and arrived later in the evening, so there wasn't much to see/do in the town itself, but the Parador was very nice if you're looking for a quiet place to stay outside Madrid. The drive into the city the next day was about 45 minutes, so it's a good option for a country-like hotel not far from Madrid.

Nice hotel, 2-star restaurant.
The hotel itself is very nice, clean, comfortable, beautiful patio and garden. Breakfast buffet is OK, espresso machine does not work, cappucino is so.so. Dinner was a complete disaster. Go to the Plaza Mayor and you"ll have a great dinner (try local wines.... amazing) for a very very very reasonable price (smoked wild boar for starter, ajoli soup is fantastic).
