Wonderful place to stay. 6 of us with 2 dogs stayed a week and really loved being in the house. Plenty of room and a nice kitchen. I even took some time on the porch swing out front. Chincoteague was fun and my granddaughter especially liked Island Creamery! We would stay here if we ever had another family vacation to Chincoteague although make sure you take bug spray if you go to the refuge!

Family getaway

My daughter just had our first grandchild so our other two children and spouses flew out for a family get together to meet their new nephew. The house was plenty big. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs and the the location was walking distance from shops, coffee and a great running trail to walk the dogs and allow for the runners to train. There was even a great dog park about a miles walk away. The only complaint was the traffic noise out front. I didn’t realize how busy the road out front was going to be. Otherwise …well equipped comfortable house.

Dog and location win

Took our old pup and he loved it. Safe for him, fun people watching from front porch, and a quick stroll to town for old dog. Old well equipped house with charm and character. With this brings some old house noises and extra difficulties. Nothing major if you are use to older homes. Plumbing can be noisy and grumpy. Beds were comfortable.
