The property is very pretty and well-maintained. The desk person was helpful and efficient. The rooms were a good size and seemed to be clean. The restaurant had its problems and things were advertised on the menu that weren't available.

The property around the hotel is well landscaped. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. We had to ask for towels and washcloths since enough weren’t provided for a two night stay. There is a wide variety of selections for breakfast, but the items in the “warming” trays were cold. Butter wouldn’t melt on the French toast.

The second level room was bright and clean and comfortable. I liked the simple view and big windows. The fridge in the room was helpful and the TV and shower worked well. Plenty of convenient parking. The water didn’t get real hot but was warm enough. My only disappointment was we couldn’t have the buckwheat pancakes because a large tour was at the hotel so they did a limited buffet for breakfast instead.
