Peaceful and clean

The property has such a beautiful view of the small lake and the house was spotlessly clean. There is lovely attention to detail in the decorating and the accommodations were very comfortable. It’s also close to Chippewa Falls downtown and Lake Hallie. We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Perfect getaway for all seasons

We stayed at this beautiful property winter of '25. Although lake properties are traditionally a summer getaway we loved every minute of our winter retreat. We were traveling for a curling tournament and loved waking up to the beautiful lake view. We enjoyed early morning walks on the frozen lake playing fetch with our dog Cooper. The beds were incredibly comfortable with great linen. The kitchen had everything we needed for in home meals after long days of sport activity. The welcome note and book to hear guests travel stories was the perfect touch. We will definetely be back!

We made it work but the space is tight. If anyone in your party is tall be prepared to be ducking under door frames.It’s the lower half of the house that’s being rented, which felt like a basement. Photos are extremely misleading on the size of the actual rooms so be aware of that. If you have any small children it’s not the best choice— steep hill into the lake. One of the rooms/bathrooms is actually only accessed by going outside and around the house.Other than that: it was clean and there’s a great sandbar in the middle of the lake
