"As a group of friends visiting from Berlin, we had a fantastic time in Baker's Cottage! Paul was a gracious host (even when we got lost on the way there) and organised a canoeing trip for us which was really good value. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Would throughly recommend staying here."

The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, very tasty, fresh, plenty of choices, including freshly squeezed juices, waffles, and all other breakfast classics. "The Garden Hotel is outdated and old, but that’s part of its charm. It perfect if you are traveling by car. We were here for pottery shopping; the area is otherwise remote. The town square has been revitalized and looks way more “happening” than it did 7 years ago when last we were there The staff and food at the Garden Hotel are welcoming. Unless you need an elevator, I would recommend this hotel "

"We were going to check in and the front desk lady was great, after discussions with her we upgraded to the castle about 200m away and it was amazing. However we rode horses at this location and enjoyed the great pizza and beer. The whole property was very quiet and enjoyable, grass needed to be mowed but still amazing. We also enjoyed the stable employees and riding horses. loved our stay in the castle as well, overall great experince."

"The Gwarna Sky Hotel is a real gem - it’s located in the Old City so it’s a walking area but the hotel has parking via a spiral ramp that needs concentration! The area around the hotel has many remarkable architectural highlights plus a castle (currently a military teaching centre) and two cathedrals, several restaurants and lots of coffee shops. The hotel bedrooms and bathrooms are fine, there’s an excellent gym and the breakfast is free and very good indeed. Altogether an unexpectedly enjoyable stay, highly recommended."
