「Below expectations! Disappointing. Renu down property. The cottages were not very well kept. Lot of wear and tear - broken cloth hangers, broken kettle, leaking wash basin etc. silver lining - the ala carte meals were tasty though not much selection in the menu. Buffet was bad! Quite inside from the main area. So no choice except to manage within the property only. However, transport desk efficient. Cabs reasonable. Didn’t take pics. 」

「Everything has an old look in the cottage - the view was good but everything from the aircon to fittings were really old and worn out. Getting a Uber from the hotel is a real challenge as there are regular taxi drivers who charge triple the rate waiting at the entrance to turn away our booking. Really frustrating when the hotel can’t help us with this matter.」

「It was off season and there was some annual maintenance going on - it has to happen sometime - but the hotel manager and staff had made every effort to minimize this and to more than compensate. If you wanted a fully equipped gym you might have been disappointed but if you wanted to stay in a simply beautiful property - and we were delighted in all respects from room, food, amenities, activities, and location this place is it. But what makes this property special is quite the most genuinely...

「Our room with a/c and ceiling fan, contained a large bed, tables, chairs, fridge, kettle and sink with separate toilet/ wet room. Settee outside on the verandah, large ground space from where you can view the sea, restaurant, promenade. Nice helpful staff. 」

「We spent a wonderful 5 days here in November. Great location among the trees. Woken to birdsong. Staff really helpful and friendly. Star man is the chef Thomas (Thomas Cook as he told us), who served us some brilliant meals. Tip: it’s worth getting a single cottage for the peace and the view 」
