Clean, modern hotel with great staff who were friendly and more than accomodating at all times. However, I was quite surprised at having to pay $30 for onsite parking, especially as I didn't see this anywhere on the website.

Quiet; a stone's throw from the sprawling Hagley Park and incredible botanical gardens; very convenient to cheap, easy, efficient public transportation, which I used to great effect. Accommodations themselves were very pleasant, staff welcoming and helpful. Dug it.

It was an excellent day. The staff was great. Location was perfect for walking distance into the center of town. Buffet breakfast was very good. I wish they would’ve included omelettes in part of the buffet, if requested by a client, but other than that who was great. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location - easily walk to city center attractions and Hagley Park. Comfy beds. I thought this hotel was a good value - truly enjoyed our stay.

A fantastic hotel - very new and spotless. The staff were great. I was here to watch the cricket and it is an easy walk to the ground from here - about a 25 walk. The casino is a 5 minute walk away which has great food options. Great hotel - look forward to returning soon

The property was relatively new. Rooms were a bit cramped lacked any outside view. Sudima Christchurch did not meet our expectations.

The hotel is new, clean and comfortable. The staff are very good. That’s about it for the positives. There is no mini bar at all. No bottled water or anything. And the worst part is the noise. You can hear every other room. You can hear people in the hallways, you can hear the lift and you can hear the room next door unzip their suitcases. For a new hotel the insulation is absolute garbage.

Just a very comfortable stay. No frills when it comes to facilities options but otherwise very clean and very comfortable. Quite a few dining options in the area and it always felt pretty safe regardless of the time. The view was pretty nice too.

Sudima experience was great. It would a more positive experience if the laundry areas were pointed out. Very few utensils were provided. Otherwise, the stay was an awesome one.

This is an excellent hotel: new, nicely designed, quiet and centrally-located. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, every room has a two-burner cooktop; plates, glasses and utensils; an electric kettle; refrigerator; and a microwave.

Customer oriented apartment/hotel
Well located & fully equipped kitchen. We had an 1 br unit. Apart from the usual stuff like washer, dishwasher & Nespresso machine, even air cleaner, curling iron, Alexa, shower bombs & women’s period care packs are there. The place was spotless & in almost like new condition.

Great smaller-medium-ish hotel, not much parking, but very walkable location. Next to restaurants, Hagley Park, and a short walk to central city area. Room are kitchenettes so nice to stay in, although they are on the small side. Staff were super great too.

Our stay at the Sudima was amazing. The hotel is close enough to walk to the city centre but far enough away to escape the traffic noise. The room was spacious & clean with everything you could need. All staff were extremely helpful. Credit to the manager for having a great team all working together to provide an excellent customer experience.

Fantastic, new modern hotel. Lovely comfortable beds. Spotless room and the kitchette is great. The staff were so lovely, they helped us with our bike storage. Breakfast was delicious and gourmet standard. Perfect location for the events centre.

We came to Christchurch so my husband could have surgery not available in our home city. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, including holding my room for me at a busy time for them when it became clear my husband needed an extra night in hospital. They were amazing. The room was excellent and it was a very pleasant place to stay overall.

Exceptional service from all staff especially Alana. Staff went above and beyond. Food was top notch. This property is luxurious with premium bedding and amenities which include everything from a yoga mat to tampons in the executive apartments. (Happy wife, Happy stay.)

Absolutely the nicest hospitality staff we have come across in years of travel. Staff were so friendly and obliging every time you stepped in or out. Premises was modern and serviced well. There is a lovely restaurant also with helpful staff. Location is very pleasant and easy to walk to surrounding restaurants and bars, as well not far to walk into the city centre.
