“The experience was unlike any I have had with the other company. The house was impeccably, clean, and unlike many other places, they went out of their way to leave items that normally you have to buy. There was coffee and snacks, shampoo and body wash. It just felt like a place you could stay as soon as you walked in. Then after I left, I noticed I had some medical equipment and they went out of their way to mail me the next day. Unbelievable I look forward to staying there again. Thank you.”

“This is our second time staying in this unit! It is a comfortable space that allows you to relax and enjoy your time. Often I find it hard to sleep in a place that isn’t home but the bed reminded me of my bed at home. Neil was great with communication and made sure our stay was great the whole time. We will definitely be back to stay in the future!”

“This place is beautifully renovated and modern, and was close to the places we wanted to visit while in Roanoke. The private courtyard was also a luxury in the middle of an up and coming area. We will definitely stay here again!”

“The property was inaccessible. There was no key in the lockbox and the space was clearly not livable. I was unable to stay there. Still haven't received a refund from VRBO.”

“We stayed here for VT graduation and could not have picked a better place. The lodge is wonderful- clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The view outside is gorgeous and there is so much to do. Our kids loved playing frisbee and feeding the goats and donkeys. Our grad loved the Hokie decor, and the grandparents loved the beauty, peace, and quiet. We are already makign plans to come back.”

“This unit is very clean and really all you could ask for in a weekend rental. I am originally from the area, but was back in town for a wedding. I was initially skeptical of the area/neighborhood, but after staying, the area has significantly improved.”

“Host was very friendly and responsive to the 1 tiny issue that arose and checked on us during our stay to make sure we didnt need anything. Location was very convenient. Unit was small, but clean. Had a few nice appliances but I would not call the unit high end as described. Suited our family of 4 fine for the time that we were there. Checkout was a breeze as host requires no cleanup or checkout duties.”

“I like it. I would book again but in warmer weather for me. I enjoy the scenry, the openness and the quietness. One suggestion, maybe i overlooked it but state that cell phone connectivity is low due to area. If you have a wifi code you should include it in welcome letter as when you get there the service is very low to non existing.”

“This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay.”
