“Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and……

“In the centre of Valletta and walking distance from main bus station. This hotel has one of the most welcoming and helpful staff we've ever seen. The room with sea view is excellent and is definitely worth the extra price (it is spacious and even comes with a tradition Maltese Balcony!). Breakfast is also the best we had during our week long stay in Malta. 9.5/10”

“This small boutique hotel has a chic design and staff are nice and friendly. Location is a plus which is right in the centre of Valletta. The only minor problem in my room is there is only bathtub but without screen and water splashing around which got the floor quite wet. But only really a minor issue comparing with its other plus points.”

“Barrister Hotel is located in the city center of Valletta, very close to St. John's Co-Cathedral. There are many nice restaurants & cafes nearby. The hotel staff were extremely nice/supportive and did their best to make you feel at home, especially when I encountered an unexpected incident during my stay in Valletta. “The location is close to the main historical buildings and tourist centres. The breakfast buffet provides diversified kinds of good foods and is worthwhile to pay extra cost for it. Most of the staff are welcoming and helpful. But the staff of cashier are a bit too cool to greet their guests. The dust on the cups in the minibar broke the image of its “blink blink cleanliness “. It’s good to live there for one day and try the breakfast buffet. But it is not suggested to live there for more……

Coffee machine with pods and milk pods replenished every day. Good breakfast included. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Sites of interest easily walkable. 8 minutes walk to airport bus - no steps.”
