“Check in was great. The hotel is beautiful and great location. But our toilet didn’t work and when I called I was told that the maintenance guy was on holiday. With no resolution offered until I insisted that we really needed a working toilet. Then we were moved to another room and the rest of the stay was great. It was just a bit off putting that it sounded like we were expected to be fine with a non working bathroom”

“Warmed welcome by our host with a tour of public areas and our room with garden patio. Loved tea/coffee and snacks on offer at any time and delicious home made bread at breakfast. Stunning views from lounge and local path into Stirling meant no driving to dinner.”

“Very nice and clean property, staff was friendly and cooperative, free parking on site, nice sea view from property and it is close to shops and from beach which is ideal location for exploring local areas. Property is little far from Edinburgh but we can park our car at Ingliston park and ride and use tram from there to explore Edinburgh Suggestions: consider putting some clothes hanger with space as there was no clothe rails in property.”

“About the only complaint: no toilet paper. To conserve they use a dispenser that gives out single sheets at a time (like a tissue box).”
