"We really enjoyed our stay at The Lakes by Yoo. Everything was clean and well designed and the pool and spa facilities were good. Most importantly the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue with our original room so they kindly upgraded us to a suite for our final night, which we weren't able to stay in as we had to leave due to a family emergency, but the gesture was greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again in the future! "

"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). "Parking was very easy Staff were delightful and helpful The hotel was very quiet with it being out of season so the menu choice in the restaurant was very limited but what we had was good and value for money. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order again because of the limited number of guests. We will definitely return. "
