「I think I was the only person on the whole property during my stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the lakeview cabin very much. It rained the duration of my stay, but the porch overlooking the river allowed me to sit outside and read my books while listening to the sounds of nature. Thank you for accommodating my dog, she travels everywhere with me. She also enjoyed being able to sit outside and stay dry! The only things that were missing were utensils, paper towels or napkins, and...

「Way beyond my expectations for the very reasonable rate!」

「Very nice rooms here. High end but not too expensive. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Late check in was a call to someone in the building but very efficient.」

「I was coming for a concert and had a family emergency and gave away the tickets canceled the hotel but was still charged FULL PRICE and contacted both hotel and Expedia all for the hotel to decline my refund!!! Absolutely disgusting customer service $237.40 for a room nobody occupied for one night!!!」

「Barb, Bill and daughter Jessica were wonderful. Great conversations and an exceptional homemade breakfast.!」

「Though the decor was nice the place didn't function well. The toilet gurgled, the kitchen sink drained extremely slow and the furniture was extremely uncomfortable. The couch cushion was so worn you didn't feel it, you felt the frame. The beds were hard. The fridge is small, like a dorm room fridge. From the post it seemed you were closer to the water than you are. We booked for 2 nights and left after 1 knowing we wouldn't get a refund. We booked hoping to make it a fishing weekend so after...

「Rooms need to be updated Toilet didn’t flush properly 2nd floor ice machine not working Breakfast was less then desired not many choices」

「We were lucky to find this gem when the Mount Pleasant area was sold out for CMU friends and family weekend. The cozy, quaint cabin met all our needs for the long weekend. Settled in a peaceful and quiet setting, the cottage was tastefully updated and clean. Definitely recommend this place!」

「We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! From the moment we booked, the host went above and beyond with communication and made everything so easy and welcoming. The cabin itself was even better than we expected. It was incredibly clean, cozy and full of charm. You can tell the host put a lot of heart into this place, and it shows. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation. Shout out also for the great recommendations on what to see and do in the area! Thank you...

「It was cozy and delightful! 」

「The property was beautiful and the hot tub was great. On top of that, the beach is a private little thing, only for certain residents in that area. There's a Putt putt place about half an hour out that's also really cool and fun. I will say, it's a little bit smaller than I expected (fully a me thing) and, if you wanted to sleep all 8 people, you would probably have to bring your own air mattress or two. It really depends on people's willingness to share beds. All in all, it's a great place to...

「This is the cutest little place. With its own fenced in outside space with an electric fire pit. Host even supplied s’mores ingredients. The only thing it doesn’t have is a table to eat at which didn’t bother us at all. We prefer the outside space. We will definitely book again」

「Everything was great. It was quiet and had a beautiful view of the lake. We were in the area for a wedding, and the ability to have a place for my fur babies was the deciding factor for the cabin. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet getaway.」

「The cottage was clean and comfortable. We loved the shower and the fenced in backyard. Coffee bar was well stocked and lots of games to entertain. Great place to stay and will book again!!」

「The place was perfect. Great host! So helpful!」

「We had a wonderful stay. Donna(host) was always available for us. The apartment was spotlessly clean. We were able to watch the Michigan football game on this huge flatscreen TV! The bath towels were fine quality and we had plenty for our stay. Large shower convenient for handicap use. Kitchen was well stocked. This property is located on Sand Lake in Harrison, Michigan. The one very minor item I would suggest is to space the recliner a tad further away from the bed to allow a wheelchair...

「We checked in. Walking into the room there is a strong odor. There is no soap, towels, toilet paper and I look at the beds… they are rumpled and there are pillow cases missing. There’s also pee in the toilet.I passed a woman on the way to the desk and she gave me a number for “Ila” to text who is the manager. I texted-no answer. I walked to the desk and wait for about 5-10 minutes and then go into the restaurant where I learned Ila is who checked me in. I explain what happened and asked for her...
